Plot

19 years have passed since the original events of the first chapter. The city has been rebuilt, the world has been united and most people have healed, save for some few who cling to their horrible and scarred pasts. There are some though, willing to disrupt this society's peace and order for selfish goals...Will you fight with the revolutionaries for a society ruled with the iron fist of their queen, or will you fight to uphold the order and peace that has been preserved for nearly 20 years?

The way of the government, education system and military.

The Government
After the 2019 incident with Hotaka Nagachika, the governments of Cantenseel were finally able to reach a compromise with each other. The Kanshinin councilors would act as a congress for Rex, who would be some sort of figure head, like the president. While he had power, he would have to present it to the councilors, who would either approve or disapprove of the proposal. Rex would have veto power, but it would only work for so much. The councilors and The president all choose a successor when they choose to retire.

The Education System
In Cantenseel, after the borders fell, they decided to merge the new generation with each other to make sure that pride from being from a certain area would not exist, the easiest way of course, was school. In the middle of Cantenseel where all four borders used to connect, a super school was created. It was three campuses. The elementary campus for K-5th Grade. The middle campus for 6-8th and the High/College campus for 9th-12+. This means that within the school, there are people who are in their mid twenties along with fifteen yearolds in the same campus.

The Military
In the 19 years that had passed, the military had became rather lax because of the peace. Most people who joined only abused it so they could one, have an easy job or two, so they could use it for their resume. Only few actually join it because they want to make a difference.

Backstory
24 years ago, an assassin named Tiras Elbinorune was sent on a mission to murder a woman named Felicia Stadner, who was the heiress to a very rich family. Tiras, mesmerized by the woman, was unable to pull the trigger. After an instant spark between the two, he joined the military for her to win a war that was over the horizon. After a series of trials and after impregnating Felicia, Tiras went beserk and nearly destroyed the world. 5 years later, he came back after his current wife had been murdered. After a brutal beating by the angry people of Cantenseel, a man named Hotaka Nagachika who had orchestrated most of the events in the story came and launched his attack. Soon, he overwhelmed the city with ghouls, which were man eating creatures that were seemingly invincible. While the prince of Hell, Belial, a powerful vampire named Joseph, a beast tamer named Renald, a Draki named Kierra and the son of Hotaka himself, Hei, fought against the other ghouls while Rex and Tiras fought against Hotaka, who had turned into a horrific monster the size of a skyscraper. After a long and hard battle, Hotaka was defeated. But at a cost. Tiras had been mortally wounded and died in front of his love, Felicia.

"He deserves saving- he could be as strong as Drakon." Joseph said while rolling up Souji's sleeve. "Just a bit to quench the virgin thirst of his parasite- you'll be safe being bit here." He said before motioning to Erik. Erik put his hands over Souji's eyes, not letting him see the fangs coming to his arm as Joseph sat Hei up and let him instinctively bit into his forearm. He sucked the blood hard, having his skin turn its yellow color again before he fell back, letting go of Souji's arm.

Erik let Souji go and put a cigar in his own mouth, lighting it and taking a puff. "A rapid reaction and a quick infection means that his body as one of the few resistant ones has taken it well- by the nights end he will be an adult vampire rather than go through the rapid sickness and degradation that we went through." He took another puff. "Meanwhile Joseph, you should speak to the president of this nation who will be most inquisitive to the condition of his brother." He finished the cigar before putting it down and ashing it. "Head hurts." He said while being back to himself.

"It didn't hurt too bad, did it?" Joseph asked Souji, seeing the two big gashes in his forearm.

Souji did not have time to prepare himself. But perhaps that was for the better as he felt a sharp pain in his lower arm. He hissed only slightly but otherwise kept still as he did the only thing he was able to do to help Hei now. "I am fine." He quickly said before kneeling next to Hei, not in the slightest worrying about his own pain but instead on his. He looked better now. "Hei, how are you feeling? Do you hear me?" He asks, not certain how the man would be feeling right now.

Stefan watched with his arms folded, not sure weither they had made the right decision or not doing this. It was true everyone deserved a chance. And he could be a good addition to their team. But if he could be as strong as Drakon, and if he turned against them, they would be in a world of trouble.

Hei woke up in a body of water, sitting up and looking around. It was a purple realm, full of fog and full of darkness and what felt like death. He somehow could see, noticing he was in a swamp and shaking his head- where was he? Had he finally died he wondered. So many times he had wished to die, not knowing where life was going or hating himself but now all he could find in himself was fear.

"Many have come in here seeking something, asking for a boon. Lionel Lancaster first asked me of power and I gave it at the price of a mortal life- Adalica. I was asked secondly by a man who wanted to advance your species with creatures known as ghouls in his dreams, and I gave it for his sanity. Drakon Vamaris asked me after he was infected for a boon. He asked that he be forgotten like he was in life, and that he could create a one people- a unity." Out from the purple mist came a creature with a mushroom cap connected to a white skull with the mushroom cap growing out from a black shadow like body that resembled noble clothes. "My name is Chernobog, the God of death and pestilence."

"The book describes only two gods and you're not mentioned." Hei said to the God of death.

"It describes Archaeus and Tsukiyomi. I am not mentioned out of fear, for I am an antithesis of all creation." Chernobog walked closer to Hei, looking at him and smiling. "You fear the realm but not me. There is...a certain strength to you I see- you've done things even when you know you'll be harmed for the sake of doing them. Is that how you ended up here?"

"It is. I saved the father of the Cantenseel from Drakon and he bit me." Hei said to Chernobog with a frown.

"A holy man. Are you a man of God, Hei Nagachika?"

"I'm a man of science and faith."

"Good, then you're smart. Drakon has became a nuisance, trying to steal away my powers and it is annoying. Truth be told human, I am sick of being trapped in my own nightmare and am willing to make peace with the gods and end our war..as well as cure vampirism under the condition that you kill Drakon and that you give a message to Tsu in Japan."

"What message?"

"Tell him that I'm ready. If they are willing to show I am real, that they are not the only gods, I will stop my torment."

Hei gasped as he woke up, alive and holding onto Souji's tightly- his whole body shaking as he looked at him. "I've seen the God of death, Chernobog." He whispered out to him as he heard riots in the streets saying kill the vampires while going door to door, fighting with the white coats who were trying to keep the peace between the heartbroken citizens who saw their cathedral burned down. Joseph put his hands on Hei, looked at the brothers and everyone and knee they had to leave soon.

"He's hallucinating. Stefan, you see any good escape routes?" Joseph asked Stefan, not wanting the crowd to see them.

Tiras went to his ravens room in his palace, seeing hundreds of the black birds there with cages adjacent to the windows. He found a white dove in there, causing him to go to the cage and open it up, gently stroking the bird and making it felt comfortable enough to give the message. He paled when he saw the Chinese dragon on it, running to the ballroom and cutting Lorraine's beautiful music short. He appeared frantic, opening it up. "Someone in my court sent an assassin after the emperor of China and he dare claims I did!" He barked out, sounding very stressed and caring little for who was listening. "Do I have to flog people to get some damn honesty out of this court?!" He grit his teeth. He then unclenched, sighing quietly and shaking his head while touching her shoulder and breathing out quietly. "Oh...this dishonesty my love. It weighs so heavy...it makes me wish I was in Britain- at least they were honest."

Souji felt a huge wave of relief as Hei awakened. Though he saw the pure terror in the man's eyes. And it was not directed at what had just happend. Not what they had witnessed atleast. Chernobog. He had never heard of such a god before. God of Death. Was there such a god? He had no time to ponder over it as the people around them became reckless. He did not want his saviors to get hurt. "Go quickly. Hei, I will let your brother know you are safe. For now, I am certain you are safe in their hands." He spoke as he stood. He would stay to calm the crowds. And see what would be the end of his cathedral.

"Always." Stefan says as he walks a few steps and opens up a manhole. "Not your favourite escape route though." He said with a grimace. "Erik, you get the kid." He said, meaning Hei ofcourse before jumping down into the sewers.

Loraine almost accidently snapped a string as Tiras bursted into her bubble of calmth. She puts a hand on her rapid beating heart as she takes a deep breath to calm down. She frowns as she takes the letter out of his hand and reads it. It was a mocking letter. But there was more behind it she felt like. If the letter was adressed to here it must mean the assassin had spoken about who might have sended her, the assasins's finger pointing at the royal family of Japan. Even if it not had been true, they were on China's radar now. "But who though. And why. Why would anyone here aim for the emperor like that. Judging by your history books, China was weakened alot by the four wars. Why try to attack China in such a state again. There would be no profit. And it's such a direct attack towards the emperor alone..." She could not put her finger on it.

"Disgusting." Joseph said while plopping in with Erik behind holding Hei, following Stefan through the dark corridors for what seemed to be forever until they ended up in the service closet in the building Joseph lived in. Joseph came out with his crew before hearing a man clear his throat. Joseph looked over and saw Paul the security guard eating a donut, looking over at him. "Bonjour Paul." Joseph said with a smile. "I know this seems odd..."

"I ain't asking." Paul quickly said while waving his hand.

"Good." Joseph said before going to the elevator and getting them up to his penthouse. He noticed Hei was unconscious, meaning he needed more blood already which was concerning. "If he has Drakons appetite, we will need more bleeders. Erik, get our new boy a drink then figure out what he's good for, alright? You saw him fight didn't you?"

Erik took Hei to the dungeon that Joseph had turned his room into, having criminals chained to his wall that he had captured. They'd pay their sentence in his dungeon, being feeders for the vampires until they'd paid their due to society.

He was a black haired man, lightly bearded with light brown eyes that screamed pain. He had been kicked out of China once the alliance was secure and ostracized by Cantenseel after the Henry Rodgers incident. It was Lei Feng, chained to a wall but unrecognizable from a scar that traveled from his eye, a cross his nose and ended right above the upper right lip that he had been given by Erik once captured for an armed robbery. Joseph, knowing who he was would give him to Rex after

Erik took a bucket of blood collected from Lei's open wounds, seeing he was unconscious though alive. He took a cup and began feeding Hei, spending quite a while doing it before leaving. Hei laid down asleep, having dreams of his mother had childhood before waking in a cold sweat just as Akira was out the door again, seeing the dungeon. He took up with his burns healed, having his equilibrium thrown off center. When he found balance he found that he felt lighter and stronger and heard nearly ten times better along with smelled.

Hei opened the door of the feeding room and saw only Stefan sitting with Erik sleeping upside down from the ceiling- his white bat wings covering his body. Hei rubbed his face, seeing the dim lights still as too bright. He sniffed, finding the fine cologne Stefan had on as very nice- he had showered, having scented hair that was clean. He could hear the cold blood moving in his veins- his heart pumping inside of him. Hei shook his head once more, coming over to him and sitting down. "I have a woman named Kierra. Will we have time to let her know I'm not dead? I'm sure that's what the news said."

"The only other person here would be my grandfather...if that's his son, he would have him killed to protect the crown." Tiras frowned. "If...if this is true, I'd have him slain for treason as I'm honor bound...but.." Tiras shook his head, breathing out quietly. "What am I to do? The council of lords respect and adore him. Killing him...politically it'd be very bad." He sighed out. "But I am emperor and I don't want this."

Joseph was wearing a dapper suit, having his white hair combed back and slicked as he came to Rex's door. He was let in by security, escorted to his office and allowed in to face Rex and Belial who were talking. "I think I'm going to do it tomorrow...set up a press conference, I will kill this beast." Belial proclaimed.

"A bad idea. The most assured way to kill him is on the bloodmoon." Joseph chimed in.

"He's not waiting. Rex's brother.." Belial looked to the side.

"Is alive." Joseph said with his hands together. "Hei saved his people but was turned by Drakon as a result. He's with my people now...being taken care of to make sure he transitions smoothly." Joseph paused. "I know..this is hard to hear, believe me I've been there but vampirism isn't a curse...just a new beginning. He can still live his life, healthy and productive...but we need him as a fighter. If what I've heard is true, he's a good one and he may be the only one who can match Drakon..but I leave it to you. Belial...you should wait. Wait for Hei to-"

"No...we can't risk anymore being destroyed." Belial said while looking at Rex. "We must stop this at all costs...I can do it."

Stefan had a laptop on his lap, playing four different online chess game while having a book in his left hand he was occasionally reading a page out of when his opponents took too long to make a move. He looks up as he hears the new born vampire get out of the room. He looked fine enough. Clear minded. Clear eyes. And he didn't look blood crazed. Not yet atleast. He felt like Hei was going to need alot of blood and very regularly. He himself was good with a very little amount. "In time. Not yet. We will see what Joseph plans first. Just focus on staying sane." He said before making a move in one of his chess games.

Loraine frowns thinking about it. His grandfather having a child out of marriage. It would actually be a logical explaination why Tiras did not know of the attack and why it still would be from the royal court. She could truly not think of any other reason why to suddenly attack the emperor of China. But if this was true, then that emperor had a massive claim on Tiras's throne. She stood up and rubs his chest a bit. "All I know is that you should not make a drastic move. Nothing is confirmed yet except that their has been an assasination attempt and that the emperor of China suspects someone from your court of doing it. It you think about your grandfather then he is the first person you should go to to confirm this or trow this out of the window."

Rex simply had a thousand yard stare as he listened to Belial barking out his plan. But honestly, he did not even hear. He felt broken when he had heard the news. He had screamed. Cried. And trashed his room before going to his office as Belial had arrived, wanting to talk to him. The first words he seemed to be hearing were Joseph's. He's alive. His brother is alive. He almost felt himself collapsing in relief. Which he partly did as he leans his back on the desk behind him, putting his hands on it as well to keep himself steady. He was alive. "Quiet you both.... I truly can not make such a decision right now. I can't." He knew the pro and con sides of both options for the most part. But at the moment he was an emotional wreck. A relieved wreck now. But still. This was not a matter he should decide on in such a state.

"That'll be the fun part. The first couple hours of me being out I had dreams about some of the most unpleasant parts of my life." Hei said while thinking back on it, shaking his head and trying to get them out of his head. "Then I smelled...everything at once. All at once- you just showered." Hei commented before nearly jumping up, thinking he heard a gunshot before looking up and realizing Erik had just been snoring. "Fuck.." He painted out after before hearing his own stomach growl loudly, making Hei's two fangs point out.

"But perhaps I can use this." Tiras spoke to Loraine while putting his finger on her chest. "I can bring this to the council of lords, confront them. I know it won't be them but I can use it to press them- threat to cut off aid, threaten everything if loyalty is not proved. I'll have their first borns conscripted into my guard to keep them well and will offer whoever has information on the traitor to have their first born back. I have figured it is my grandfather.." He folded his hands and grinned. "So there will be a constant watching of the other. One step to China and I will know. I'll be able to deal with the issue...well and accordingly." He then paused. "But don't worry, these children will not be harmed being conscripted into my guard- it's just a lifelong path that absolves you of titles and claims unless I absolve it; it's very dishonarable to one's family to not have your first born take their birth right."

Belial frowned, shaking his head and standing up while exchanging a look with Joseph. The two eyed each other down, each wanting to save something but Joseph knew what they had to lose. "Don't be a fool Devonshire, let me do what we need to do."

"Let you allow my city I spilled real blood for to be burnt?" Belial asked in a dark and gravelly voice. "Let me tell you this, you blood sucking animal. I'm not playing your games to try and fight this monster, I'm old fashioned. So do your plans, follow your fake prophecies- I'm a real hero, I won't step aside and let a monster burn what I love. " Belial shoved Joseph back angrily. "Go crawl back into whatever cave you came from."

Joseph looked at Belial angrily, more hurt than anything else. "Fine. Then you can fight that monster by yourself, but know that this isn't a movie- you're going to die." Joseph said to him before looking at Rex and then leaving, leaving Belial and Rex to brood.

"You'll get used to his snoring. It is the loudest sound in the entire universe." Stefan said with a slight shrug as he won one of the chess games. "And yes I just showered. It was highly needed. You were lucky you and your nose were unconcious when we escaped to here." He says, almost gagging as he thinks back to the smell before raising one eyebrow at Hei. "How hungrey are you? Blood needy hungrey or a normal hungrey. Vampires can manage mostly on normal human foods."

Loraine frowns as he explains his plan. Taking their first born sons. That still sounded like a drastic thing to do. But she had to keep in mind that this was Japan. Their system worked different here. She did not understand it yet and she was not in a position to give good advice. She did not have to knowledge for it. "If you thinks that might help..." She says as she looks a bit to the side and plays a bit with the collar of his shirt, not liking the fact she was a political airhead in this country while she could run Britain with her eyes closed. She felt a bit useless to her emperor. And she really hated that. Not that she was not trying. She was pushing herself very hard to learn all about their politics. But just when she thought she understood one part it just twisted again.

Rex was about to step in when Joseph luckily stepped back, not letting it come to a fight and just accepting the situation. He sighs deeply and rubs his forhead, feeling his headache rapidly grow. "Belial, that was very unneccesary. And the next time you see Bordeaux you will apologize to him for your words. He is on our side. He is fighting alongside us for a reason. A damn good one. We need him. And it is not either of your decisions what to do. It is mine. And I am telling you, no, ordering you to lay low till I make a decision." He said, a bit angrey now as well. But it was mostly stress. "Understood?"

A week had passed she thought after arriving in the palace of the lands of the rising sun. A week in which Nanako had been learning more about the country. And more about the horrible conditions these people had been living in. Technology was like from the stone ages here. Food and housing were at a minimum for everyone to survive. The attacks from Japan had left them a broken country. And not to mention how disgusted she was after learning about the birth of the Youxia. Who those guards and warriors truly were. Japan never had this truth written in their history books. Logically. She sighs softly as the book she was reading now was making her just as depressed. She closes it as she looks over the garden from her position she had in the tree which she had climbed in to relax. Staring into the distance she thinks back to her nephew and niece, wondering what they were doing now. She had not checked on them since their happy birthday message to her. She smiled softly thinking back to it. She had never missed them this much. But that was probably because she knew she was not going back any time soon. She sighs again, needing to get her mind out of it. She needed to train. But Li Jun had forbid that a bit. Logically since no one would believe she was just a concubine if they saw in what way she trained. It was just best to keep the pretty girl facade up. Genjo was already skeptical enough. Thinking about it she actually wondered where Li jun was now. He had been so buzy with.... Everything she had barely seen him.

"Both I think." Hei mentioned while feeling the parasite him move around lazily, being twice the size as when he had been infected. "The...thing inside me, what is it?" Hei asked quietly. "It feels like.. part of me now but not. It talks in my head- it says...eat, or or sniff, or hear- it's as if it knows but is also learning, like a child how to comprehend the human body." He seemed to extract some type of will against the parasite and it crawled to his arm, showing underneath the thin skin. It was albino white with black and red veins unlike the typical parasite, having turned white once it began to mature.

Belial looked at Rex, having a straight face but with a great anger behind his eyes. One way or another he'd end this- nobody would stop him. The beast wanted him, nobody else and it was his decision to do this. He left the room, not saying a word and donning his armor as the Patriot only he left the helmet off. He opened the door to the manor, knowing reporters were always outside and began to cause an uproar, having reporters fly to him as he opened up the gates. "I, Belial Devonshire, captain of the guard am the vigilante known as The Patriot. I challenge Drakon, the plague that's been attacking our city."

Li Jun came out from his training grounds, having a beard now down to his Adam's apple and his long black hair in two black knots. He looked at Nanako and picked a flower from his garden, tossing it over to her while his two swords swung at his hips. "My, the garden looks terrible compared to the lady sitting in it." He said with a grin, putting it in her hair while sweat beads dripped down his forehead. "And so do my training partners- I should fire them for being so terrible."

Stefan puts the laptop to the side table as he stands up and takes a hold of Hei's arm to look at his parasite. Interesting. It looked like it listened. Well, each parasite had their own characters and will of some sort. His was calm and gentle like a woman's while Joseph's was pretty agressive at times, except when there were woman around ironically. "Your parasite. I will explain to you more about it later as it is difficult to understand and you should rest a bit first. Just know that this thing is a part of you now. And you need to keep it that way. You need to control it before it stars controling you." He let's go of Hei's arm. "Will a sandwhich and a glass of blood be fine?"

Rex let's out a huge breath of relief as both men were out of his room. He needed a break. A bit one. He needed to see his brother. He needed to see Mina. But instead, he heard the reports outside suddenly go wild. And when he glanced outside of his office window room he paled at first, seeing Belial in his Patriot outfit, infront of the reporters, his face revealed. He knew what he was doing. And when the shock wore off he clenched his fist, punching the wall and bursting open his knuckles as his anger got the best of him. As he went straight against his orders.

Nanako could not help but smile a bit when she saw Li Jun entering the gardens. Immediatly she got out of the tree. She touches the flower he had put in her hair softly, not really used to such gestures. "You are so smooth with words." She says with a slight teasing grin as she pulls the thin scarf she had around her neck off and dabs his forhead a bit, remembering an other time when he would be sweating like that. "You could always spar with me. Even though the emperor forbids me to show off my skills."

"Yes." Hei said before turning to the TV and watching what was unfolding now. Belial stood in front of the manor, staring as he saw Drakon come out from the darkness and stare him down. Belial held his fists tightly, having two blades come out from his forearm.

"The Patriot- so noble of you to come and face me. Will you have the same courage as you come to face demise?" Drakon said while his feet landed on the floor, smirking. "Can you keep up, human?"

"That isn't even a question." Belial said while striking his blades together and looking at him. "The question is...can you?" He said before disappearing, moving so fast Drakon had trouble keeping up. He blocked on strike, allowing another to strike him through the arm before twisting it, snapping the blade out.

Belial replied by hitting him with his good arm, slicing him across the face and forcing the vampire to fly back. He pulled out the blade and hissed, unleashing a horse of bats his direction that Belial killed mid air, striking each within a second before propelling forward and upper cutting Drakon. Dragon used his wings to stay mid air while Belial fought him so fast that he stayed in air, having his helmet finally donned.

"You have forgotten the most important rule of flight." Drakon commented to Belial while blocking his strikes before his face was hit. "Falling."

Belial grabbed its throat and hit it in the face, holding it down before it turned into a cloud of bats. He landed kneeling down and on a fist, looking up as Drakon landed holding up both hands which contained magic. He sucked a bit of blood from the people nearby, having the droplets float in the air before they became spikes. They shot at Belial, forcing him to duck and roll like he was moving in a rain storm. He pulled out both pistols and began to fire, getting the droplets away from him before he holstered and charged. The two clashes, behind head to head but Belial was stronger and pushed him back, hitting him so hard he flew out of Rex's yard and into his new limousine. Drakon hissed, stunned and opening his eyes as Belial's blade went through his heart and killed the vampire, turning his eyes white. Belial broke it out after and panted out after, removing his helmet and walking away before the vampire got up and tackled him from behind.

Belial replied with a growl and tossed the vampire down to the ground who replied by turning into a cloud of bats just before impact, allowing Belial to fall before he appeared behind him and stabbed him with his own blade through the back of his spine and throne his head, pulling it out after and having his nanobytes leave his body as he collapsed down, barely alive as blood gushed out of him. "See your protector, see the one charged to protect you. I have seen your gods, they are false- the one God of death. Release your faith, understand the inevitable and rejoice- us." Drakon then left as soon as he came, grinning at the camera while leaving the city's protector in a pool of his own blood.

The reporters quickly ran off, or atleast got to a safe distance to not get hit in the fight though close enough to be able to broadcast it live. And the fight was quicker done than expected. Belial not having stand a chance against the vampire lord. When the fight was done, Drakon dissapeard as quickly as he had appeared before the sirens of the ambulance began to sound through the streets. Soon Belial was in the hospital, getting surgery as they fought for his life, as the news of the fight were all over the place. No one did not hear about the fight between the Patriot and Drakon. Rex was pacing in the hallway infront of the operation room. Why did he do this. Why. If he had done more to stop Belial this would have not happend. And apparently Cecilia was thinking the same thing as she trew open the doors to the hallway and barged towards the president. When she reached him she began hitting him in the chest. "HOW COULD YOU! WHY DID YOU LET HIM DO THAT! YOU SHOULD HAVE STOPPED HIM! YOU KNOW HE COULD HAVE NEVER WON ON HIS OWN! AND NOW HE.... H-He..." She was crying, and screaming. Hyperventilating as she was in a state of pure distraught. She had seen it happen. Saw the blade go through him. Saw his blood spill on the ground. Saw his body drop lifelessly and unmoving to the floor. Her hands were shaking as she cried harder, dropping to her knees as she buries her face in her hands and continous to scream. Crying out his name.

Hotaka had personally came to oversee what had happened to his creation. He led an operation, taking the blade out from him as carefully as possibly and fusing the vertabrae back. It was a twelve hour procedure, taking neurosurgeons and specialists to keep him alive. In the end, the technology inside of him had to be removed save for the light metal coating over his bones. Hotaka was very tired but luckily Lissa, Rex's mother had been there to try and keep Cecila, Bailey and Rex calm. He wiped blood off his hands, shaking his head as he came out. "He's alive...but...he is in a coma. His brain was damaged severely and the nanobytes put all their energy into saving it. His enhancements are non existent now and we had to use all our work to remove the enhancements from his body."

Hotaka looked down, seeing Bailey weeping against Cecilia as he held his breath. "He's not paralyzed but his muscles won't understand how to work anymore- he'll need years of physical therapy, speech therapy and will be like a vegetable for possibly the next year. Full recovery is possible but cybernetic enhancement isn't an option- his body will reject it." He frowned. "I am sorry.. I have no words of condolences other than I'm sorry, if it is any solace he will survive. What will happen next is based on all of your guy's action."

"Why does he care about everyone except himself?" Bailey wailed out, hugging tightly of Cecilia while it seemed the halls of the hospital were empty. Joseph came with Renald, frowning as he looked Rex

"Because he is a hero, but not the one the city needed right now." Joseph said before looking at them. "I apologize, I couldn't have anticipated he would have acted so fast." He then looked at Hotaka. "May I see him."

"He...I will advise against it." Hotaka looked at Cecilia and Bailey. "Only them. I need to explain how to proceed forward."

"In private yes; I would like to be ready the next time an assassin is dispatched for me." Li Jun said while panting out, smiling a bit as she got the sweat off his forehead. He brought her close with his hand and gave her a kiss, having became more affectionate as of recent. "Among other things in private. Getting ready for war it seems it's the only solace I have." He flashed his white teeth, rubbing her rear. "Why don't we get out of this garden? Do some...athletics."

Cecilia felt like she was underwater. She heard the words coming out of Hotaka's mouth but it was like they were just muted. She understood though. In other words, he could do nothing now. Belial could not move. Not speak. Not even smile at them. The only thing he could was keep his heart beating. With help. She felt so numb as she held the wailing teen in her arms, patting her head as she was now calm. Well, not calm. Just numb. As Hotaka allowed them in she only nodded as she walked into the hospital room where she saw him laying. Hooked to all the machine's she could imagine. His eyes closed. Full of bandages. Her strong loving man. So broken and fragile now. She merely stared, almost staring right through him as she did not cry, did not speak, did not move. She just stared.

Nanako could not help but grinned a bit as he allowed her to spar with him in private. That sounded good. She was curious how much the would rival or level eachother. When he grinned at her like a cat she knew exactly what kinds of athletics he meant. It seemed like the virgin had alot of time to catch up on. "That sounds very good, I was already craving to do something physical." She almost purrs out as she gently puts her hands on his shoulder and moves him backwards to sit on a iron bench, stradeling him after. "One day Belial, you'll be big and strong. You'll want to be a kind and loving man- someone who will always protect people." His adoptive mother spoke out. She was a plump woman with dark hair and green eyes with creamy white skin and freckles. She looked nothing like the albino boy with sharp features and slanted eyes but to him, this was mom. He looked at her from his bed and smiled, trying to speak but then waking up. Everything was a blur when he opened his eyes and the only thing he could hear was static and his heart rate racing. He saw Cecilia and tried to speak but he couldn't, only making random noise. His heart started beating faster as he tried to move but couldn't, completely numb. He began to growl and scream, looking around rapidly as his heart beat so fast he sweated- his red eyes completely bloodshot and dry. He began to have his heart reach dangerous levels of rapid beating, forcing Hotaka to sedate him to stop him from having his heart explode.

"He'll take some time to...adjust. what he needs more than anything is..support. a lot of support because this stage of paralysis..many people choose to die." Hotaka said while looking at Belial who was calming down, having tears come out of his eyes while he looked at Cecilia.

Li Jun found himself hardening as she got on him, teasing him as she did but what he did not expect was her to tie his hands. As she took off he growled, dislocating his joint and slipping one hand out. "Not fair!" He called out while untying the scarf, not wanting to tear it as it was beautiful. Li Jun took off afterwards though he was tired and she had too much of a headstart for him to beat her, fully armored and all. When he reached his room he found her there waiting, making him grin as he used her scarf to get the sweat out of his eyes before quickly plopping down his belt without a word and then his shirt and pants, going over to her in just his underwear with his dark muscles shining in the dim light he always had on in that room. He reached over sucked her neck a bit, feeling her thigh as he left a red mark on her neck. Li Jun went to her ear, nibbling on her earlobe while his hand traveled to her crotch. "What does the victor desire from me?" He asked with a whisper, having his beard hairs tickle against her while he spoke.

This was reality now. This was the most her prayers could have done for him. And it was not even close to what she bad been praying for. Belial looked at her a little less scared, letting out a sound that sounded similar to a word. He continued to try to speak, figuring out his tongue on his own before moving his mouth and managing to say "I love you." To her before leaning his head back and seeming exhausted from the effort. He shut his eyes, breathing out quietly while he seemed to fall asleep in a deep slumber from the medicine.

As they were with him Hotaka walked out to his son with a frown, shaking his head a bit. "They have a long road to recovery, with much time. Sadly...we're not afforded such pleasures, my son." Hotaka said with sullen eyes, not aware Hei was alive. "I could save everyone but your brother it seems. I was thinking of a funeral but they couldn't find a body." He didn't look as if he cried or would but he looked upset, looking at his first child and reaching over as if needing a hug.

"Then don't judge so much." Joseph said before turning to Rex. "Are you ready? I know he seems to be."

Joseph led them out of the hospital and to his car, first driving to the store where Hotaka was to buy a plantain. It seemed forty minutes had passed, with Rex and Joseph sitting in his luxury car and wondering where the hell he was. "Your dad Rex, I'm telling you. Knowing him he's figured out some way to fit the grocery store into my car...or something like that." He grumbled out while getting a cigar out, hardly caring he was in a million dollar car as he cracked the window and lit up. "How is it going with him?" He asked out of curiosity. "My boy Steffy ran backgrounds on all of you when figuring out Hei's capabilities-" He admitted. "-your dad seems to fawn over you two."

He twirled it in her hair, staring at each individual strand moved on his hairy knuckles and scarred fingers while he tried to understand them. He continued doing this for the longest, mesmerized and happy with a smile. "You make me feel the greatest personal joy. I've...not known such a thing, not with my upbringing. I fear things will be different once I'm an emperor, no?" He asked her, wondering if she could calm his fears.

Rex wanted to comment on the smoking but decided to let it go for now as his mind was elsewhere. Mostly being annoyed at the moment because his father was taking terribly long for a simple errant. "He does in his own way." He said, not knowing if jis behaviour could be called fawning over. "He does really fawn over my mother." He says with a slight smile. Thinking about them together did always warm his heart.

Nanako completely relaxed in his arms as he stroked her hair, it being very soothing. And that combined with his calm breathing almost made her fall asleep. But then he spoke again, making her look up at him. She knew he meant his words. Even if it sounded pretty sad. To believe she, his assassin, a woman he knew for like a week, made him feel the most joy he had. It was crazy. "Ofcourse it will be different. You will be emperor of two countries if this work out. You'll be building both of them up. But I do believe you'll be fine. You of all people I feel like will give it your all. And that is why it'll work. Your heart is in it." She said as she softly rubs his chest. "You'll be a very buzy man." She did not realize he probably was asking if things would be different between them.

"That he does. Invite me for their wedding, would you?" Joseph asked before inhaling and taking a puff on his cigar, them seeing in his rearview the shadow of Hotaka. He pressed the drunk button, having it open before he felt a weight plop down in the back that shifted the entire cars weight towards the back. "Sacre.." he quickly got out, waving his hands at Rex's dad as he saw the entire trunk was filled to the top with plantains. "Do you have any idea how many plantains that is?!"

"Something around four hundred." Hotaka mumbled out.

"I said a plantain! A singular! Not, not.." Joseph grit his teeth before slamming the trunk.

"He'll be extra happy then." Hotaka said while getting in the back with Rex, shrugging at Joseph fuming.

"He has a diet." Joseph grumbled before then going to Hotaka's house, now waiting for him to get all of Kierra's letters which now too was taking forever. "What is issue?" He commented out before looking out the window of the car and peering into the upstairs, seeing Lissa chase Hotaka through the window. "Rex, don't look in the upstairs window." He grumbles out, noticing it was now very late.

Li Jun was silent, not having his question answered as he laid down. He seemed to lay down forever before getting up and stretching, knowing that it was time to meet Sanda Kitsune on Taiwan. He was quiet was he went to the bathroom, cleaning up to make himself look like the emperor he was. He was shaven down from his face everywhere now and his hair was trimmed to his shoulders neatly, tied up in his golden dragon pin. He then went to his stand where his new imperial garb was- red silk with gold lining with the Chinese dragon ordained in the back. Underneath he wore onyx black chainmail with a chest plate that had the golden Seiken hed on it. Strapped to his sides was both swords and two pistols that he could use proficiently. "Emperor enough you think?" Li Jun asked while getting his onyx black sabatons on, having his midnight armor on and his ornamental robe loosely over it enough while he waited for Genjo to knock so he could escort him.

He wanted to go see his brother. "If he is not down in ten minutes I will drag him out myself." He grumbled, not being very patient now as he just wanted to fucking go. "Or we can just go and I'll bring those letters later. "

Nanako got off of the bed as well, putting on her panties and brushing her hair a bit to get it straight again before putting it up in a bun. Joseph turned on his car and proceeded to wait as he watched Hotaka scramble and run out the house, this time missing his jacket and having his shirt a bit undone but at least having the letters, coming in the back. Joseph didn't even speak and just drove, going to his penthouse and popping the trunk open as the servants came to his car. "All the plantains, get them in the freezer storage." He ordered, sliding them a couple hundred dollar tip and leaving them the car keys to park it after. He took one and passed it to Hotaka, leading them up the headquarters of the Vampire Slayers. The once empty building was now bustling, being a safe haven for those vampires that wanted to live in peace. Joseph was kinder than he spoke of, trying to save as many as he could. He had a smile on his face while seeing the little vampirelings come out in awe to see Rex, wondering about his own child.

The ride up to the penthouse was long, leaving them all with much time to think until the elevator came to a stop. Once it did, Joseph went to his door and unlocked it, showing his guests in.

"Hei?" Hotaka asked out, seeing Hei with snow white hair and graying skin- his eyes glowing a bloody orange color rather than the regular orange. His wings spread nearly ten feet and his muscles cling tightly to his body, not revealing themselves well. He wore a black kevlar and polymer plated combat suit with silver blades sticking out of the gauntlets and black painted silver spikes from the knuckles. On his belt with an array of tools that would help him best against vampires.

"Father? Rex?" Hei asked, breaking his form of training in hand to hand combat before turning and running to them, hugging Rex before his father. "He let you come?"

"I can't say no." Joseph mumbled out, knowing who Rex was.

"Thank you." Li Jun whispered out to her, leaning in before hearing the door knock. Rather than stopping he gave a kiss, then leaning back and looking at her. "I'll be back. If I come back with a head, you can assume it didn't go well. If not..well, wish me luck for that." He said with grave doubts of this before turning to his door and opening it, seeing Genjo and his very angry looking brother all dolled up. "Is the helicopter brigade ready?"

Rex could not help but smile a bit at the little kids, giving them a pat on the hat as he was a bit surprised how much of a community Joseph had build in such a short amount of time. When he saw Hei in such a state he felt a bit nauseous. But atleast he was alive. Alive and well. He forced a smile at his brother. Well for now. "No one could keep me from my brother. How are you feeling?" He asked as he puts a hand on Hei's shoulder.

"It is. We are all set to go." Genjo said, having had to force his brother to join their travels. He had not wanted to go at all. And even Genjo was still upset with Li Jun. One of the reasons standing in his bedroom right now. He still did not trust it somehow. Li Jun would not lie about such a thing, right? He would not truly have an assassin as his concubine. But still, her skills... "So-"

Before he had time to finish that sentence, Nanako had walked up and took Li Jun by his collar, leaning up and giving him a passionate deep kiss, using her tongue as well. When she was done she grins up at him. "That is me wishing you good luck. Go get them." She said, knowing he needed a confidence booster. And to show off a bit to his guards.

"More...of everything." Hei said while looking at himself. "Imagine drinking forty energy drinks. That's the equivalent of how I feel, only my skin is grey and my hair and eyes look weird." He pulled away and looked at Rex, smiling before having a stack of letters plopped in his arms. "These?..."

"Are from your girlfriend." Hotaka said while tapping his shoulder, laughing a bit before hearing a loud grumble.

Erik flew down, causing everything in the room to jump a bit. "Wakey no want!" He barked out, looking as if he'd lift Hotaka up before seeing the plantain, grinning. "Pointy banana."

"Err. .yes! Banana, here take...terrifying tall man " Hotaka said while giving Erik the plantain. Erik bit through the skin, chewing it as well as the plantain meat while going into a quieter room.

"We have avoided catastrophe." Joseph said before walking to his wine cabinet, opening it before drinking it straight from the bottle.

Hei read through the letters quickly, finding his heart pounding hard as he saw them. He had to see her and now, wanting to leave but knowing he had a duty. He went to grab a piece of paper to reply to her, telling her that he loved her and explaining what happened before telling her he'd see her when this was over. He then handed it to his dad, panting out before smiling. "This to her." He said before turning to Rex. "Should give vampirism a try sometime- I feel energized constantly."

Li Jun's eyes widened but became softer as he kissed her, putting his forehead against hers having now a thousand words we wanted to speak but leaving it, stepping back. "I will, Nanako." He said with her name tasting so sweet on his tongue before turning and leaving- his guard following him to his helicopter. He entered his warcopter which was equipped with missiles and machine guns, being followed by state of the art war planes from Cantenseel that his pilots had grown accustomed to. When they landed on Taiwan they saw Sanda Kitsune and only twenty guards, having been covert. Li Jun stepped out, not waiting for his guard to meet him.

Sanda was a tall man who wore a loose robe with his chest exposed, revealing a dragon tattoo. He had fierce narrow black eyes and black hair with his left side grey- his pencil goatee flickered with spots of grey as well that fit onto his grizzled sharp face. He rested his hand on his katana, looking at the hundred Youxia brought with him. "A hundred men to twenty- where is the trust?"

"Non existent." Li Jun said to him before narrowing his eyes. "You've came to meet- what's there to speak of?"

"Straight to the point in the Chinese way...yet not the Japanese way. We have a dance we do, a certain water wavy way through our politics...one set forth through a web of connections." Sanda grinned. "I want the land of House Masamune, a most brute and angry of houses. One of the most ancient, which looks down on my house. That...and I want a duel, with you or a champion of my choice. Then I will kneel if you or said champion wins and then we have tea."

"Poisoned tea?"

"I sure hope not! I like living." Sanda chuckled out before narrowing his eyes. "So our deal?"

"All of my supporters will have what they wish and more." Li Jun said with a smile, lying venomously to him. There would be no lords when he is done. "So yes. As for the duel, I send Genjo Youxia, leader of the Youxia Guard and my second to fight you."

"Ah! The Blonde one. Now I knew that Vaughn left a son in China, I just didn't expect him to look so much like him." Sanda grinned. "I wonder if he fights like him too."

Rex paled a bit as he saw the huge brutish man, glad they had something to calm him down. Luckily. He was even more glad to hear his brother doing fine. FIne enough atleast. "No thank you. I know I complain about being tired alot but I still would rather try some more coffee." He said with a bit of a grin. His brother was still the same. Not in appearance but he was in heart. And that was a big relief to him. He then turned to Joseph. "So what are your plans with my brother." He asked bluntly and directly, his tone of voice suggesting he might go against it if he did not like the answer.

Genjo was stone faced the entire time, being the embodiement of discipline and alertness as he was ready to attack at any second if something may go wrong. Though when Sanda began to talk about his father his hand twitched a bit, that being the only sign those words affected him in some way. He did not want to know. He did not want to ask. He did not want to be compared to such an animal. But he said nothing. Showed nothing. Instead he simply drew his katana as he stood taller, radiating an aura of danger as he narrowed his eyes. Joseph said while sipping it, sitting down before looking over at Rex. "He's to be trained until the blood moon so we may have all the power to kill him. John Martin has not replied to us, leaving everyone here you see to be the defense of Cantenseel. Oh, and Stefan but I'm not quite sure what he's up to." Joseph sipped again. "You should be proud- for some reason your brother can fight well. How do you know fighting? You're not a soldier."

"I was bullied in school and learned off the internet." Hei chuckled out. "But uh...yeah. After all this is said and done Rex I'll tell you my plan- this is the one thing I need to keep to myself otherwise you'll all tell me I'm crazy. All I'll say is it'll help us all...no more bloodmoom ever again."

"And I thought Erik was wild." Joseph chuckled out before setting his drink down, grinning.

Sanda came close to Genjo, only pulling his blade halfway out to block blows. He was trained with his sheath, using it as if it was an extension of his sword. As they dueled he grinned, dancing almost to dodge the warrior. "So ferocious. Your father would be proud." Sanda said before pulling out his katana finally, swinging it faster than any duelist in their army. He marched forward, never being on his feet for long as he waited for Genjo to trip on his own feet.

Rex did not feel very comforted to know his brother was going to be a part of this dangerous fight. Even less comforted to know he was making his own plans without telling the others. Those weren't really smart things to do. Not at all. He did not like it. "Hei...If you think we would say it is crazy then it is probably to crazy to do..." He did not want his brother in more danger than nessecary.

Genjo knew this would not be a fight easily won. So he delivered blow to blow to see what kind of man he had infront of him. But when Sanda began to attack in return, he just as easily and calmly blocked them as Sanda had did. He had been trained for this from the second he was born. This was nothing special to him. He stayed calm and sharp. Trying to figure out what Sanda's plan was. What he was trying to do. The man was fast. Light on his feet. He probabl relief on his speed mostly. So he began to fake it. Faked getting slower. Faked that the attacks were getting harder to block. And then he faked falling backwards. But then, instead of falling, he blocked Sanda's blow which came from up high midair as he went down to one knee, putting his other hand on the ground, as he kicked with his other leg Sanda's feet out from under the man. He quickly stood again, pointing the katana now at the high lord's chest as he laid on his back. "Are we done?"

"Probably but it is necessary." Hei said with his head down. "But it'll be done, brother. Sanda coughed up hard, being reminded of his age. "Fuck." Sanda let out before lightly patting the katana, getting himself up before dusting himself and nodding, going to pick his katana up only for Li Jun to take it. "Swear your service."

"Emperor Li Jun Seiken, true heir to the golden throne and first son of Yasuda-" Sanda fell on his knee. "I swear my service to you, in this life and the next."

"You may rise." Li Jun said before whistling. "Get the tea!" He barked out. He then walked with Sanda, sitting at a table under a tree and pulling up a chair for Genjo, clearing his throat.

"Vaughn's son fought well." Sanda chuckled out, then looking to his blade. "Will I get that back?"

"No." Li Jun said before looking at Genjo. "Genjo, good job." Li Jun said before turning to Sanda. "You on the other hand- you were slow. Genjo, what do you think? This guy can't fight, what's he good for."

"Resources. I have the largest spy network in Japan- I am eyes and ears. I can do things...dirtier than the other families to get allies. I'll show them to our cause- help them change their oaths to the imperial family. If they believe they are not breaking oaths but rather following it to a tee with a true heir, they'll shift." Sanda looked as the tea was delivered. "Or is subterfuge worthless?"

"Subterfuge is key. I want to march without bloodshed." Li Jun said while motioning his hand.

"A dream possible for all but one family- the Mizushima's." Sanda commented.

"What will we do to them?" Li Jun asked Genjo, smirking.

Rex could not help but crack a little grin at his little brother, him always having been the dreamer between the two of them. What he sketched was something he would be longing for. That peace and quiet. But he knew the road to get there will be hard and difficult. It already was. "I do really hope we can make such memories, brother."

Genjo felt statisfied having won the fight for his emperor as he followed them to the table. He honestly did not want to drink tea with this man. But to keep apearances up he sat down, thinking it would be rude to decline his emperor's obvious request for him to join. He felt nauseous though. He had a name now. A name to the beast that had raped his mother. A name Sanda kept saying in a way of praise. It made him sick. "They kneel or they die. It is that simpel. It is useless for them to fight anyway. The true emperor needs to sit on his throne. An emperor that will make Japan thrive even more." He spoke out obidiently.

"That is to be determined. Truth be told we're all not as patriotic as you think, Japan means nothing to us nor her people. What matters is wealth, titles and gain- the three things to win over the hearts of the thirty clans that rule Japan." Sanda then sipped his tea. "I have at least five I can sway over right now...however that may be, the Seiken family has a strong grasp on us all. They're the largest family with over a hundred thousand personal guard alone."

"I will give you all what you seek." Li Jun said to him.

"What if what is requested conflicts?" Sanda asked. "Will you honor our agreement?"

"Of course.." Li Jun smirked. "We're two alike men- we understand how things work. If some people like the Masamune's need to be stepped on, that's how it'll be." He leaned in. "You understand?

"Of course." Sanda smirked, believing he and Li Jun were true allies. "Well then..."

"Genjo, please leave." Li Jun said to him before getting comfortable, relaxing a bit though the way his eyes scanned for threats showed he wasnt ever comfortable. "Now that we're in private, tell me of the military strength of Japan, now that it is fresh from war?"

"Gods...it's hardly an army anymore." Sanda admitted. "Its young and mainly conscription- Tiras finds that it is the duty of the nations young men to serve. They're reluctant for certain and the older generals are even more wary of war. The fourth invasion..well, that was a catastrophe."

"Oh, I remember well." Li Jun sipped his tea. "I made it so."

Sanda smiled and nodded his head, seeing the emperor he had love for once more- Yasuda Seiken yet he seemed more politically savvy. "Snarky, no?"

"Its truth. I remember the river of death- we had you in retreat, running back to the line..."

"You had poured dragons fire in before hand and let us run in before lighting it ablaze. I was the commanding officer in charge of a battalion that was tasked with escorting the emperor back so we already were demoralized. Then...you.." Sanda's eyes glossed over. "The rebel yell...god I will never forget it. Ten thousand Chinese men running through the waters, screaming like animals with you leading the charge."

"I remember you leaving- the jade warriors they called you for the glass armor you wore." Li Jun smirked.

"That we were...though I've not wore that armor since then." Sanda sipped his tea before clearing his throat and sitting up. "I know I shouldn't ask but...its nagging at me. My brother was in that group- the occupying force. Are they imprisoned somewhere or?.." He frowned. "Where are they?"

"Prisoners? Not. After four invasions we'd not dare give reason for you to return- hospitality is a no." Li Jun said while looking at him- his pearl eyes piercing Sanda's black eyes. "We camped a mile from the forward camp. We sent our shadow warriors in the night and slit the throats of your snipers- we'd not want those bugs annoying us as we marched."

"How was the battle?" Sanda asked while changing composure, clearly uncomfortable. "I assume bloody?"

"Wrong." Li Jun smiled. "Vaughn Johan, your mercenary general surrendered upon us circling him. I had none of it. I had him taken personally and buried him up to his neck, letting my pet hawks chew his eyeballs out before I lined up each Japanese soldier and nurse. I know you men are fond of sodomy, so I allowed my Youxia to extract form of revenge. When she couldn't fit as many men as needed, we'd make room by cutting her open...slowly."

Sanda gagged but tried to hide it. "I've had enough."

"Your emperor decides when it's enough." Li Jun said before pointing at him. "We're friends, right? Friends don't interrupt story time."

"I...suppose so." Sanda said with a forced smile. "Continue, please your grace."

"When they were done servicing at least a hundred bastard children in front of those men, we took them prisoner and let them give birth to the next generation of Youxia warriors along with the others- tokens of esteem left by your men."

"It was war.." Sanda said while justifying it. "Most of those men never thought they'd return."

"I agree. They were right in that sentiment too. I unburied Vaughn after a week- he was covered in urine and feces along with now being eyeless. I made him profess his crimes of rape and murder in front of his men before beheading him...and then I left it to the gods, starting a lottery. The winner would be conscripted into my army after being re-educated. The rest were to die with the choice of execution left to chance."

"My brother?"

"Familiar he is. Did he look like you? I might have saved him."

"Yes, but a bit taller?" Sanda smiled.

"Ah yes..." Li Jun chuckled. "I remember him. His lanky body stretched out across and pile of tires and burnt." He stared into his eyes. "Remember Sanda, the cost for an oath breaker to pay is the highest of all- his whole family suffers. Help me win my war, help me take my throne and we all will end up happy. But if you mistake my mercy for kindness, you'll learn my brutality fully well. I am the Chinese dragon, I know mercy because of my mother- however I am the son of the black blade Yasuda Seiken." He grit his teeth. "I will inflict ten times what was done to China if the throne is not submitted to be by grateful subjects."

"I will make sure your grace the throne is handed to you." Sanda said before leaning over and vomiting, feeling Li Jun's cold pat on his back. "Oh lords what did I eat?"

"Japanese garbage. You'll feast here tonight Sanda, I will show you our hospitality as well." Li Jun ordered with a smile.

"Yes your grace." Sanda said to him before vomiting again. The war veteran of several wars was now vomiting again, truly now sickened by the fate of the forward camp of the fourth invasion.

"The price we pay, making deals with our invaders." Li Jie said while shaking his head to his brother, dressed in crimson armor and wielding a dao sword. He then noticed Sanda intensely vomiting, raising his eyebrows. "By the dragon, Li Jun must have shown his supposed dark side. I've never seen a grown man projectile out his breakfast quite so intensely." He chuckled out before sighing, shaking his head. "Still.. we should have seen it because his gut was sliced open, not because of that. Li Jun disrespects us by working with our conquerors."

Genjo kept his eyes on the supposed to be friendly drinking of tea. Which he knew was just a facade. And to show his strong position. When he saw the man vomiting he looked a bit disgusted, wondering what story Li Jun had decided to tell. "He will break those bonds later anyway. We can't go guttinf them already. We need them so it won't be as much of a blood bath. He is making political right steps. It is no disrespect. It is to save as many of us as he can."

"I don't know, do you believe it?" Li Jie asked his brother. "I always hated him but I trusted him, had faith in him above all else. Now.." He grimaced. "I'm disillusioned. I'm not sure what to believe in anymore...I thought you know it'd be family above all else." Turning his head Li Jie looked at Genjo- the both having the same red eyes. "I dream of me, you and Mina bring far away from all this. Chatting, smiling...and maybe having mother watch down on us and smile." He had a smile to his face.

Genjo had to admit he was feeling the same way towards his emperor. He was conflicted. Thinking he had known the man but apparantly he had not. Though he could not deny Li Jun was doing everything for China. So that is why he will keep on believing. Keep on fighfing and protecting him. Till it was not needed anymore. He smiled slightly at Li Jie's wants, longing for the same. He had true family now. And he was being accepted with open arms. "Soon enough we'll have that. For now, just keep standing straight." He replied with a smile in return.

As the feast went on Li Jie found himself glued to his brother, not knowing what the hell was going on since Li Jun was speaking Japanese. He held his liquor, looking over at Genjo before burping. "You know in France..where I studied, the ladies were so beautiful." He said drunkenly while Li Jun spoke to the Japanese, getting them cozy. "I had this blonde girl, pretty like you Genjo named....uh, Francois?...no that's a man name. Georgina! Yes!" He grinned. "Oh my God, she had the widest hips in the continent. Not like the girls here, skinny and that- no, she had meat. More meat than this roast." He chuckled out, looking at the table.

Genjo was holding a drink in his hand as well. But he on the other hand was not really drinking. He was occasionally taking a minimal sip to make it look like he was. He was trained to stay sharp. Unlike his brother apparently who's lips became loser each passing second. Which he thought was hillarious but perhals not the right place for it now. Still he could not stop himself from grinning and chuckling. "Pretty like me, huh. If we had not been brothers i might have think you were hitting on me. And honestly, i dont know if i need to here more of your... Female adventures." He says, not knowing how far his story telling might go.

Genjo rolled his eyes and chuckled, finding this all rather amusing. Though when he saw his emperor's eyes he knew it was enough drunken fun for one night for them. "I will remember. Now, let us go find you a nice place to sleep. I think the emperor is getting jealous because of your great stories of you bedding so many different woman." He said before actually pulling Li Jie out of the chair and hoisting him up onto his shoulder, walking away afterwards and earning some glances.

Genjo could not help but agree though with Li Jie's words about that woman. Not that he though Li Jun was jealous. He just did not trust her. When he asked him not to go he merely smiled and shrugged. "I have to brother. I am the head of the guard. And besides that, you'll be asleep in a minute. So sleep tight." He said as he patted Li Jie on the head and left the tent and took his place next to Li Jun. Not talking. Just listning and standing guard.

"You dont truly believe in crawling with these dirty Chinese animals, do you?" Sanda asked Li Jun with his guard around- each of them holding a drink. They spoke all Japanese with Li Jun matching their accent, clearly having prepared for this.

"I am the true emperor. If I need to use a few stepping stones I will if I must build a staircase to my throne." Li Jun told Sanda. "This is a game, is it not? I'll use every piece I have."

"Spoken like a true politician." Sanda said to him. "I think you'll usher in a new era of peace, I have a good feeling about this one." He said while speaking to his guards. "Just remember your friends, huh?"

"Of course I will. We will all be filthy in wealth at the end of this." Li Jun said with a grin though his pearl eyes weren't smiling.

Genjo sipped his drink as he tried to understand the conversation a tad bit. They were talking to quickly though for him to really get a sentence. He heard game and friends he believed. Nomatter what it was about, the look in his emperor's eyes said enough. He was playing the Japanese lord like a fiddle and he was falling blindly for it. He almost felt bad for Li Jun having to put up such a facade.

Renald groaned a bit as she nudged him awake, he actually perfering to sleep till the clock went off but with her in the bed that was somthing he never accomplished. She was always up way too early. He lazily turns on his side to face her as he wraps on arm around her and cuddles her like a pillow, burrying his nose a bit in her hair. "My friends are very buzy people. My French friend is buzy with his work and my other good friend is the President." He mumbles a bit in her hair. He did not mind that strongly. Well.
