Where does your name come from?

I'm not looking for the meaning atau whatever. Just find out where your parents came up with your name, and if anda were named after someone, find out who they were named after, and so on, as far back as anda can go.

My mom named me Shondell after the group Tommy James and the Shondells. Tommy James named his group after an American singer named Troy Shondell. So my first name was originally a last name. Cool!

Whom she was named after, I don't know, but as she's getting married, when they talk about her I always think people are saying that I'm getting married..
