Rawak Soalan

Do anda believe in animal rights?

Explain.

I believe we should respect animals, but we DO need them for testing and Makanan so....

no, we don't really need them for testing. It's evil! The poor creatures don't even know(or want) what's going on! We do need something to test stuff on but I really wish they would use something like cloned people, not Haiwan

I don't think Haiwan should be abused.
I think slaughter houses should be lebih humane.
Haiwan have rights, too. They aren't human, but they are people.

I don't disagree with eating them, though. I'm a carnivore. If it isn't meat, I probably won't eat it. But that doesn't mean I think Haiwan are any less than us. I always say "Thank you" before I eat. Not to God, not to whoever cooked and served me the food, but I thank the animal for giving its life away to keep other people alive. It's part of survival. If we lived in the wild like we were supposed to, we would have to eat them to survive. And we have to eat them to survive in our society as well. That's the way it's supposed to be, and that's what keeps things balanced.

I'm a total animal rights activist, animal lover, and vegetarian.

We don't NEED them for food, atau testing. People are generally just too stubborn to change their diet, and big companies don't want to risk getting sued.

Okay :) I was asking because the Debat topic for NFL is justice requires the recognition of animal rights.

anda don't think it's bad to raise Haiwan just for their food? They never get to actually be animals, they're raised in cages in most places. And before they even become full adults, they get killed. That seems fair to you? That's pretty much no different than a anjing, anak anjing mill, and nobody likes those.

Heh, human trails... I agree, criminals are a much better test subject. atau what about suicidal people who don't have a reason to live anymore? They might as well be useful, and they might even change their minds after a few tests. I know there's not a really better option, but we can't rely on Haiwan forever, it's not fair to them.

Duhh! Haiwan are so cute and innocent, we need to protect them from other people atau natural disasters!
I try to buy only products that say they weren't tested on animals(they have a little bunny sign on them). It's really cruel to experiment cosmetics on animals! The cure for cancer... maybe! But not freakin' make up!

This is a hard one. We do need to test things out, but I feel like we don't deserve this planet as much as Haiwan do. They live to survive, and we just fuck things up, and it's not about the entire world for us. I think they derserve it more, not that I want to disappear....but, that's that human arrogance. Haiwan don't have that. they just live!

To an extent.

I believe in animal testing for drugs and other science. If we didn't test our meds on animals, millions of people who could have been saved would die. But the moment we get sufficient technology to allow us to test drugs on machines, not animals, then switch. But for now, animal testing is necessary.

I do, however, think the Haiwan should be treated lebih humanely. They should be kept in better cages, telah diberi sedatives when needed, etc. This goes for things like anjing, anak anjing mills and pet stores, too. anjing, anak anjing mills should be shut down, because the Anjing need to be kept in much better conditions. That's why I'm against buying Anjing from pet stores - they all come from these shitty anjing, anak anjing mills.

I'm alright with eating animals, keeping them in zoos to study and breed them, owning them as pets, all that. Animal abuse though, is wrong. But that stuff isn't abuse.

anda do know that after it's tested on animals, it's tested on humans, right? We're too different not to.

^ Yes, but only after it passes animal trials. My point holds.

Hell to the fucking yes! I live across the jalan from a pet store and down the road from an animal hospital. I see a lot of abused Haiwan atau starved Haiwan in my neighborhood and I am sick of it. My dog pic, peach is one of the only healthy Haiwan in the entire neighborhood. I mean there's only like 2 other healthy Anjing then all the Kucing except for a select few have never even seen shelter atau the clinic. I feel seariously bad for them but what am I to do? I can't help all of them sejak myself. And I have tried calling local shelters and stuff like that. Biggest waste of time in my life. They didn't even care. Not once have they ever come out to try and help. Me and my neighbors from the pet store are the only ones helping them and they have to manage helping customers also.

Lets just say I like Haiwan but if a member of my family becomes a dedicated PETA activist I will disown them and make their life hell. (meaning I approve of hunting, farming and eating meat, testing probably not unless it's an animal product.)

I believe that people should always look for the kindest way to treat animals. If they are pets, I think they should be bred in a healthy way and not massed produced in anjing, anak anjing mills. They should also be well fed and not mistreated.
When they are raised for food, I think when the time comes for them to die, it should be as quick and painless as possible.
Using Haiwan to conduct testing for cosmetics seems to me as frivilous and unnessary. I do agree with the humane use of scientific testing to find new medications. Where would modern medicine be without such testing?
In the end, Haiwan are here for the sake of man. Also mankind has the responsibilty to watch over them. But Haiwan do not have human rights. People have the responsibility act to be humainly.
