Legalisation of Brothels - Opinion

I'm currently watching a documentary about legalising Brothels in Britian sejak the WI Ladies (Womens' Institute). (filmed in 2008)
Their aim is to get 'working girls' off the streets and into selamat, peti deposit keselamatan and fair working venues, where they are protected from rape, harrassment etc and are offered a fair share of their profits and can earn a decent wage.
Personally i think it needs a little lebih work and thought, but think it could be a very good idea if thought about carefully. But i was wondering what others on here thought.
I would appreciate, as with your opinion and jawapan - that would share some information, such as you're age (or age rage if anda are not comfortable sharing your true age), what country anda are from and if brothels and prostitution is legal in your country and how it came to be so if anda know.

Just to warn you, i will not tolerate abusive jawapan atau komen-komen to othes answers, and any i find will be reported.

^ yeah i thought so, worth a try anyway. I know this isn't a legal way to do it - and i don't condone it at all - but if anda feel it is worth watching and anda are interested try downloading it :) It's called 'A WI Lady's Guide to Brothels

I have suggested - although i do not condone illegal downloading- thta anda try and download it from a site. It is a shame BBC atau Channel 4 in the UK will not share over the world :(

I feel legalization will be a good thing. Take a note from Prohibition, people illegalized alcohol and alot of mobs developed from it. But if brothels were legalized I think that will make the situation better. Btw I'm 19 and brothels are illegal in Florida.

protection under the law = freedom from abusive pimps, rape, ect.
enclosed facility = easier testing (of clients and workers) for S.T.D.s

also,the gov. may like the taxes they would then be able to collect. It's a win-win.

The tax government would collect from legal brothels is something that has repeated through the doc.

Yeah i think it's only available in the UK )forgive me i am unsure where anda are from) but it is available on chanel 4od (uk only) :) i have sent an e-mel to the website asking for permission to post the whole video atau a link avaiable to all countried on this website alone, but so far have recivied no reply. It has opened my eyes to the prostitution job etc, so, it's worth watching in my opinion :)

There are dominatrix's, but paying for sex is not prohibited. The plan is a good one, and I hope the idea gets polished a bit more, as well, for safety reasons, mostly for those involved. The countrys that do allow it have far less S.T.D problems, and far less missing girls. So, basically, it's going to happen whether anyone likes it atau not. We might as well have it be as selamat, peti deposit keselamatan as it can possibly be.
