What are pujian for?

I've been here for almost a year, and I should probably know what they are, but I don't. Do they do something special, atau are they just a way of complimenting someone for something they have done?

They're supposed to be telah diberi to someone when anda like a video, link, article, etc. they telah dihantar atau a komen they made. Complimenting someone's ikon atau moto is good too.

Obviously though, they're not really used like that anymore. Years lalu there weren't walls on Fanpop and so people would talk to each other sejak propping back and forth. I think it mostly just stuck, and people like the look of having high prop counts. *shrugs*
