He is the exact contrary of the stupid, selfish, narrow-minded James and he is more tolerant than Sirius.

Lupin doesn't seem to like a fight, unkike James and Sirius, who aren't arrogant or stupid, but if the are arrogant it only makes them hotter!!! Snape isn't my favorite character or close to my favorite character! Those three would be my favorite if they weren't all dead!

Lupin doesn't hate Snape, just Sirius & James did. He never bullied him with them, he's too nice for that.

I don't think so. I think he felt for Snape more than anything, and I think he really regretted not standing up for him when they were younger. I also agree with edwardcullen23.

In HBP he himself tells Harry that he neither likes nor dislikes Snape. I think he truly regrets his part in hurting Snape as kids and I agree with iloveejasper that all he really wants is peace.

Snape despised him only because he was James and Sirius' friend, quite foolish for such an intelligent wizard.Lupin never bullied him and he felt sorry that he couldn't stop James and Sirius from playing their cruel pranks on Snape.

He isn't the type of guy to hold a grudge on someone.

He needed the Maurauders, I think he did it so he was accepted a little more... if he went against James, Sirius and Peter they may have stopped being his friend and Remus would've been left to his own devices. Plus, Remus would never hold a grudge, although the Boggart lesson with Neville was a little harsh.

This is one of the main reasons why I like him more than the others. He's kind, and he's sensable. He doesn't let old school rivaries get in the way, and he isn't the type to bully someone (or at least mean it).

No, Because Remus Lupin is too Sane, too Rational, too Clever, too Intelligent, too Smart, too Reasonable and too wise, Also He is very Civil, Suave, Polite, Friendly and Affable to Severus Snape.

I think he disliked Snape and also maybe pitied him, but he didn't hate him the way James and especially Sirius did.
