I just love them!!! Those three are probley tied for first favorite characters alon with Fred and George. I love them! They are so cool, and immature!! I would marry any of them, they are all so hot!!!! None of them arrogant if they are it makes them hotter. I love the Golden Trio, but the Marauders have it! I wish there was a book about their time in school.

Lupin is a Marauder!!! Actually, I don't like either all that much. I love Lupin, Ron, and Hermione. Harry complains too much and James is a douche bag. Stick Harry with Draco and I am sold. But if I have to choose just the golden trio, then the group with Remus wins hands down.

Tough choice, but I'd pick the marauders over the golden trio. The golden trio is still awesome though.

I can't stand James....too much being bullied in my past and too much witnessed in my years of teaching and child welfare.
I love the 'look' of Sirius and choose to overlook his bullying.....shallow of me, I know.
I love Remus Lupin. Wish he had stood up more to his friends as a student like he does now as an adult.

So, overall, I choose the 'trio' of H/H/R. Though I could do without Ron, except as comedy relief.

It makes you wonder, experimentally, if J/S/R had a great battle to actually fight in while at school, somewhere else to direct all that emotion, fighting spirit, if they would have bullied at all.

As much as I love the golden trio, and the fact that there is at least a girl among their ranks, I can't ignore the devotion among the main three (I try not to consider Peter) Marauders.

Why does everyone say James, Sirius, and Lupin. Just call him Remus! Why do the other get first names while Remus is stuck with his sur-name! Sorry, I had to get that out. But, yeah, James, Sirius, and Remus. No contest.
