How old is everyone in RENT?

No one else is specifically stated, but it is easy enough to figure out a general age of everyone... Angel is probable around Mimi's age, anywhere between 19 and maybe 22 at the oldest (doesn't strike me as that old but it is possible. Mark and Benny are the same age as they roomed together in Brown universiti according to Johnathan Larson. They are probably around their mid to late twenties. Roger is most likely in that same age range, as well as Maureen. Collins is a college professor, and that would require him to be at least 30 but probably older if he is being hired sejak places such as MIT and NYU, so he could even be around 40. Joanne is in the same vein as Collins. She is a successful lawyer so is probably around the same age range as Collins. This was a little long, but I thought that an explanation as to my thought process couldn't go awry. But, the only age that is specifically known is Mimi.

It doesn’t say the others but I assume that Joanne is 26 atau 27 because Fredi Walker berkata she didn’t look young enough to be Joanne, Roger is 23 atau somewhere between Tom and Marks age, and Maureen is Marks age.

Angel's probably a little older than Mimi's age because we know she has full-blown AIDS as opposed to HIV, which takes a couple of years to progress. I would agree that Angel is in her low twenties. Mark and Roger are probably in their mid-twenties, since Jonathan berkata they are out of college, and Maureen is probably about the same age, judging sejak Mark's "Not my bar mitzvah!" komen in the movie. I can't see thirteen-year-old Mark being Friends with people who are a great deal older atau younger. I would say that Joanne is a little older than that, however, because in the musical song "We're Okay", she clearly had a lot of responsibility, and someone fresh out of college wouldn't be that high up in a law firm. When it comes to Collins, however, I totally disagree with the sebelumnya answer. Collins berkata he was expelled from MIT--not fired, and the way he berkata "teaching gig" sounded like it was a new think. I think he went to MIT to get a lebih advanced degree atau find someone to finance further study (hence the guys saying "You struck emas at MIT!"), and only decided to teach when he couldn't find anything else. Even in Santa Fe, it sounded like he wasn't a huge peminat of teaching and hadn't chosen it as anything other than a last resort. I would say he's in his late twenties, maybe thirties, but no lebih than that.

I agree with the other two komen-komen about Mark, Roger, Benny, and Maureen all being in their mid twenties, and obviously we know Mimi's age. As for Angel, 22 sounds about right. I always thought that Collins was about 30 as well. However, in an interview with Fredi Walker (the original Joanne on Broadway), when they asked why she didn't come back for the movie, she berkata that she didn't think she looked 19ish anymore. So I always thought that Joanne was just ridiculously smart and graduated high school a LOT earlier than normal. I always placed her at about 21.

Well, since Mimi's nineteen, I'd say that Roger is around twenty-five, old enough that she seems young but young enough to still be interested in her. Mark and Maureen are probably in the same range, maybe a tahun atau two apart. Joanne is in her early thirties, I'd say, because she spent several years in college. Benny is the oldest, not quite forty, and Collins is a few years younger. Angel is about the same as Collins, maybe a little younger. Okay. Really long entry. Hope anda like!
