Just grabbing five minit here on our hari off here in Springfield, MA and thought I’d drop anda all a line to let anda know how things are going!Well the tour has started off with a bang! The crowds have been fantastic and are definitely making this the best tour so far!! Someone asked me the other night what has been the highlight so far and I can honestly say that each tunjuk has brought something different and great. Of course playing Radio City Muzik Hall is always special because of its history and status and this time around did not disappoint! In fact, I think that I was probably able to take it all in a little better this time than in 2008 because, I suppose, I’m little older and wiser….well, I’m definitely a little older!
While in NYC on the hari before the Radio City gig, I took in a tunjuk on Broadway. I went to see "American Idiot" – the new Broadway musical based on the Muzik of Green Day. The Muzik and Singing was absolutely amazing, but, to make it even lebih special, just sejak chance, the one night I went to it, one of the lead roles was played sejak the actual lead singer of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong! What a voice!! It was definitely a very special night to be there!!
Well, of course, the main topic that anyone I chat to anda at the shows atau on Twitter, MySpace and Facebook seems to be my forthcoming album. I just want to take this opportunity to thank anda all for your kind words and komen-komen in relation to the two teasers of "The Village That They Call "The Moy" and "Broken Things" that I telah diposkan over the last few weeks. I’m so pleased that anda like the arrangements and what anda are hearing and I hope anda will like the other nine tracks just as much when the album is released. Speaking of which, the album is currently being pressed in London and, I’m told should be ready in no longer than two weeks. It will then get shipped to CDbaby.com ready for purchase! And, as promised, I can now reveal that the album will be called "In Time." anda can make up your own conclusions as to the reasoning behind this tajuk choice!! Similarly, I have been speaking with my website creator today and he assures me that everything should be ready to go very soon!! I’m hoping this will be before the official album release date. As ever, I will keep anda all posted!
Also, I’m very excited to announce that merchandise to accompany the CD will be available to buy from this Friday. I, again, will post the link on Friday.
So, with that, I’ll bid anda all farewell for now. I think I’ll get a little ESPN in before bed. The life of a rock and roll star, eh?!
