I loved Ryan Reynolds in this film!♥ In the comic version King was much lebih serious (and emo) than the character seen in Trinity. Ryan brought so much to Hannibal King! After he joined the cast (the part having originally been offered to Colin Farrell) the writers literally modified the character/scrip to accommodate how fun and charismatic Ryan just automatically is!♥ I can’t imagine that the movie would have been half as witty atau as charming as it is with any other supporting male lead!
It's literally the movie that got him started on his journey to play Deadpool. His portrayal of Hannibal caught the attention of one of the writers of DP, and the writer wrote the DP issue of DP and Cable where DP describes himself as Ryan Reynolds crossed with a Shar-pei. The writer then showed the issue to Ryan, which lead Ryan to doing everything he could to get the character a movie, even doing X-men Origins. (edit) Ok, this is an old answer, and my knowledge of Ryan's career has vastly improved. While I explained how this movie got him started on the path to Deadpool, I don't know if I got my main point across. He was almost the only good thing about this movie.
