That no matter what he has done everything can be forgiven. The things he did without his soul, while they may be horrific, were NOT him. The soul is the essence of who we are and without it he was not really Sam. He was just an empty vessel. Our bodies are the vessels for our souls. He couldn't be held accountable for anything he did while inhabited sejak Lucifer as he was just a vessel. Soulless works the same way. Take care of Dean because as bad as anda need him, he needs anda just as much. And remind him, that because of his sacrifice the world still exists. He's a hero in every sense of the word!
