As awesome as she was, it added to the show.

Her passing was one of the most emtional episodes.

I agree for the show it was better, for the emotion and everything.

But I voted no because she was a such a fun character and I wish she was still in the show because she made me laugh so much.

She was a coolio lassie, proper tough old chickenwhacker who could have single-handedly run a farm and had time to jig at the end of the day. But it was her time to go. Her character wasn't getting boring, but it wasn't exactly a bucket of laughs (though I did adore that old whizzlepopper), and it added such dramatic weight to the show, let Judy really show off her beautiful acting skills for the first proper time since My Nickname, and it created two classic episodes.
