"There's no need to call me 'sir'" - Harry Potter (the Half-Blood Prince)
Snape is the only person from Slytherin who, as we find out in book 7, actually possesses the nobility and character of a Gryffindor. I always knew he was good ever since, in the Philosopher's Stone, he countered Quarrrel's charm to jinx Harry on his penyapu during Quidditch. The only trait which distinguishes Gryffindors and Slytherins under the Sorting Hat is Gryffindors' propensity towards good (loyalty, love, trust, friendship, and bravery) and Slytherins' propensity towards evil (slyness, disloyalty, distrust, faithlessness, and bravery). When it comes down to it, both are equally brave, but what sets them apart is the righteousness atau lack there of which comes with it. At the start of the Deathly Hallow (page 11), Snape was the only one of Voldemort's followers who dared to look into his eyes. All Voldy's most 'loyal' Death Eaters dared not look the Dark Lord in the eye since loyalty in the absence of righteousness is empty. To me, both Snape and Hermione are the epitomy of what Dumbledore berkata to Harry in "the Chamber of Secrets": "that it is our choices, far lebih than our abilities which determine who we are". Hermione, Snape, Harry are not pure bloods but mug-bloods and half-bloods. Only somebody with every ounce of righteousness and character has the capacity to play Voldemort at his own game. Snape's death at the hands of Voldemort is critical as he must be made the sacrificial 'lamb' who makes the path straight for Harry. I think he was prepared for death from the moment he decided to play the double agent, although Voldemort never did know.
I Cinta him because he's mysterious, ironic, sarcastic, strict, and doesn't put up with anything. He had very good, deep set motivations/reasons for being the man that he was and was completely and totally loyal. He's got that whole troubled past, snarky, bad-boy thing going for him.
Plus, Alan Rickman (who, I swear, was born to play Sev) is a sexy beast with an amazing voice :)
Hes very dark and secretive. anda never really know him until the very end, in other words, he was constantly unpredictable. Who expected him to kill Dumbledore and then it be because he had to? I'll be honest, not me.
That and in the Filem they give Severus/Alan the funniest lines. Alan's delevery is so dry and scarastic... I Cinta IT!
I Cinta Snape because he is just miss understood! He might be mean to the other houses, but that's because of what's happened to him in the past. He was a death eater, but eventually abandoned Voldemort and became a double agent for OOTP. He is great in both Potions and DA, and therefore he is a great techer in those subjects! Also Alan Rickman does a great portrayal of him. I couldn't think of anyone better.
Oh man. I Cinta his intelligence first off. I Cinta smart men. I Cinta his cynical attitude, how sweetly sarcastic he can be and how blunt and stabbing he can get with words. I also Cinta that fact that we have a lot in common in terms of resentment. I identify with him so much on those levels. Loving someone and losing them to an asshole in the end. Not being the popular one and always being bullied and fucked with because those people are merely bored and have nothing else better to do but to torment.
