I just feel like Penulisan this. The Severus character was amazing and it fascinates me.
Philosopher/Sorcerer's Stone:
When we first get to meet him, he just seems like a jerk. But he does it in such a classy, snarky way. And amidst all this malevolence to Harry, we later learn that he saves Harry's life during that Quidditch match when Quirrel Bewitched the broomstick. And Alan Rickman ends up playing him. Thus, Severus is amazing :)
Chamber Of Secrets:
Although I never really thought that this book was too flashy about Severus, we continue to get a feel that there is something that this man is keeping back. However, I couldn't stop myself from feeling that whatever he was holding back was goodness. We learned in PS/SS that he was capable of goodness so I immediately trusted him.
Prisoner Of Azkaban:
Harry returns to Hogwarts and Severus is as prickly as ever. However, as we see when he soalan Lupin's appointment as a professor, he still cares about his students. atau maybe he just hates Lupin that much he is blinded. Whatever the case may be, we still think he is saving the trio's life until we find out Sirius was never a threat.
Goblet Of Fire:
After meeting Sirius in POA, he informs Harry that Sev was once a Death Eater. This is where we delve into Snape's history. We see Igor come to him and tell him that something is wrong and pointing to his left arm. No one knows why he did this atau what it means. Then Harry overhears their conversation at the Yule Ball. This was groundbreaking, so to speak, at all loose ends were tied up when we see Severus tunjuk his Dark Mark and look really sweaty, and learn he's sweaty because he needs to go speak to the Dark Lord.
Order Of The Phoenix:
After learning about Snape's Death Eater position, we keep questioning whether he is good atau bad. But seeing as we now know that Dumbledore trusts him (and Albus is amazing so), we just can't help it. Then later in the book, we get to see into his past. How he was hurt sejak his father, and teased sejak James and Sirius. And in the movie (I can't remember if it was in the book) he says that they used Viertaserium to get the answer out of Cho and hereby tell Harry that it wasn't Cho's fault. (or in the book's case, Marietta.) And most of all, he wasn't at the fight between D.A. and Death Eaters.
Half-Blood Prince:
We are thrown off sejak the fact that he was put up to the job of DADA. And we see that Bellatrix doesn't trust him, and Bellatrix is smart and powerful so that's saying something. And then we eventually this amazing teacher that is the HBP is actually Severus. Amazing! But I must say one of the worst parts of the entire series comes when Severus kills Dumbledore. I cried. And every ounce of trust we might've had for this character was lost. As far as we knew, Dumbledore was begging Snape not to kill him. Then Snape runs off and could've killed Harry but didn't, however most of us were still clearing the tears out of our eyes so we couldn't grasp that he did this not to keep him for the Dark Lord but because it was his job.
Deathly Hallows:
(My fingers are getting tired so I'm probably leaving out a lot of things)
The first thing we see is Snape letting Professor Burbage die and just sitting there. This killed me. However, right at the Silver Doe chapter (no joke) I remembered: "Dumbledore trusted Snape so maybe he killed Albus for a reason". Then we learn he was made Headmaster of Hogwarts. Berlakon under the Dark Lord's orders, he does all he can to protect the students of Hogwarts. But then he dies. Sadness! And Harry sees how it was all planned. How Snape had done all he could to protect Harry and guide him despite the inner conflict. We also see Snape's only Cinta was Lily (*tear*) and he did in fact kill Albus for a reason.
