I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2 pratonton — Mark Goffman on Abbie and Orion | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Moloch is dead and an angel is about to wing into town: As the
midseason premiere approaches (Fox, Monday 9/8c), it sure
“Right off the bat, we jump in with this story of this avenging angel,” showrunner and executive producer Mark Goffman tells TVLine. As it happens, the heavenly visitor is a hunk — played by Max Brown (
) — who may be able to help the Witnesses as they try to figure out their purpose, post-Horrid King.
Sleepy Hollow Casts Defiance Star Jaime Murray as a Divine Demon
Goffman says Abbie, in particular, finds the winged one quite appealing… but not for the reasons you might think.
“There’s something inspirational that Abbie sees in his conviction and his abilities,” he says. “As the story unfolds, it becomes extreme. There’s a really interesting connection between Abbie and the angel.”
When star Nicole Beharie spoke with TVLine earlier in the season, she previewed Abbie’s sudden affinity for the dreamy divine messenger.

“She sees in him someone who is actually completely living for what they believe,” she said, “and finds that really inspiring and maybe even decides to sort of follow him in that.”
And Crane? Will the skeptical colonial be as enamored with the celestial being as his partner is?
So, besides my history with Supernatural and there only being one angel to trust, I for some reason watched the History Channel’s Revelations thing they had on Monday and can’t help but be reminded in a the judgment days stuff, angels are the ones who actually do the horribly destructive signs that leads to the seven years of tribulations. So, I hope Abbie is suspicious especially since we know to trust most of her instincts more (as long as they aren’t about her sister).
Can’t wait to see this ”avenging angel” episode on Monday. Thank the Tv gods some shows are back next week!!!
I’m not too happy with it personally. There’s one episode on the 5th, and then a two week break before the remaining eps air. I would prefer less breaks, given that it has already had one.
Not sure where you got the information but I read that on the 12th is the one that Ichabod and Katrina go on their date. Tomorrow I can check on my guild for the tv I can go up to full week ahead so will be checking. plus I pvr the show and the schedule gives me the full week because it is on here
Thinking the angel has helped her ancestors in the past. But he may not be so “angelic”. Maybe he’s too much an avenging angel, and could get Abbie killed.
I certainly hope that something happens with this angel to shake Abbie’s straightforward commitment and certainty about everything, because she’s become boring this season. Bring back the skeptical, questioning, full-of-doubt-but-trying-to-hide-it Abigail Mills of last season, please. She was MUCH more interesting.
Abbie isn’t boring, she just isn’t well written this season. More focus has been on Katrina if anything, you only have to see with Episode 9 that if you give Abbie an episode, she can easily shine..
Well yes, there has been more focus on Katrina. You couldn’t have had LESS focus on her in season 1, and like her or not (I don’t, btw), she’s always been a main character. So that should surprise no one. But her character is actually being developed at the expense of Ichabod’s, not Abbie’s.
And the writing has made Abbie boring. That is my point. She is only as good as the writing. If she’s being written badly, then she is not as interesting.
I don’t think the Katrina character is being developed at the expense of anyone. The entire first season was about Abbie and her family. Crane has been fleshed out only through flashbacks and of course that’s the only way it can be done with Katrina. I do like her. She’s a mystery and she’s a strong woman. Abbie is a known entity and we know she’s never been anything but career driven but lacked the compassion and bravery needed to stand beside her own sister. That was the entire premise of season 1. Get Abbie’s sister to forgive a now repentant Abbie in order to have a backup. Season two is focusing on Katrina, Crane and their life together. How can they come together again and how can Katrina regain trust and become another backup player. It’s ridiculous to think that just two characters can carry a show.
How is Katrina a strong woman? She’s a flop in everything she does but particularly as a witch.
The funny thing is that two characters are carrying this show and that is Abbie and Crane, the fact that this season is a giant miss and everyone is wondering what happen to the lauded season one show should tell you something. No one cares about Crane and Katrina’s life together. The show needs to go back to the season 1 formula and focus on Abbie and Crane as a unit.
Per chance, are you channeling of Katrina, when you think of the word, BORING…..
I think you are getting Abbie mixed up with Katrina. No one and I mean no one is more boring on SH then Katrina and that is a fact. Stop trying to make Abbie look bad in order to prop up Ms. Useless.
I can see why Abbie would be attracted to someone who has her commitment to the cause and doesn’t have all the distractions that Ichabod has with his boring, show-draining wife and son.
Hmm, I really thought he’d play a turned human Kindred. Are they going to pick that one back up?
I have a feeling this will turn out badly for Abbie.
It would be remiss for a show that had stated it was using the Judeo-Christian bible and the book of Revelation as the basis of it’s myth-arc not to throw in an Angel…or eight (possibly with trumpets).
Exactly…how does it make sense to have all of “below” stuff, the demons and a hell and a purgatory and an after life (all based on the Judeo-Christian Bible) and not the stuff “above” stuff, aka Heaven and Angels and Archangels and potentially even God. What are the “chosen ones” fighting for if not what the Bible says; Heaven on Earth? They are fighting against the Apocalypse (Revelations)….how can you have one without the other?
Supernatural didn’t invent angels nor the concept of using them in supernatural tales and as evababy said, this is a story using the Judeo-Christian bible to form a lot of their plots.
I hope they kill off Jeremy and Katrina or have Jeremy kill Katrina because this redeem Jeremy plotline is tedious and boring
Why kill her off she has as much right to be on the show as anyone else. She has been on since season 1.
Yes, she has a right to be on the show if she is contributing. The character is useless and her dialog is repetitive.
but that is how she is written, I’m hoping she is written better. I like her character how strong she was in the 1700 when beening female a spy and witch and yes I can see reason why she didn’t tell Ichabod. But both are forgivable if he loves her enough which I think he does. yes I know she is not powerful now. but really she spent 231 years in purgatory with no power she can’t just come out and be all powerful and make it believable to people who would understand that. She is also in a time that is forging to her she see that Ichabod has Abbie to help him and wants to be of use to him as well so she can only fall back on what she knows and beening a spy is one of them. She just didn’t understand how powerful Henry was and knew what she was doing. I think most people have hated her since they knew she was coming out of purgatory. and that would interfere with people wanting Abbie and Ichabod together that they haven’t given her a chance and have looked for more reason to hate her Because I don’t find her unseless and all their dialog is repetitive even Abbie’s and Ichabod’s
I will admit Abbie and Ichabod together is intriguing…but i could understand if they never went that route and only ever had them as friends…to be honest its hard for me to imagine Abbie with anyone because she is so up-tight and tense and serious..i mean she rarely breaks a smile…MAYBE once a episode…
BUT…i disagree with you. Since she came out of purgatory she has been nothing but an anchor to both Icahbod and the show. She has been nothing but a disappointment to Ichabod with the revelations of her multiple life changing lies, her inability to do what she says and inability to be fully trusted. Even if she hadn’t lied about all those things to Ichabod she did not give off a trustworthy vibe went she went off to be with the headless horsemen, and she didnt give off a trustworthy vibe when she went to be with Henry and the baby…she is constantly being tricked/duped and not taking the whole “end of the world, do whatever it takes” thing seriously.
Nothing will turn fans opinions to the negative faster than a female character that whispers in the ear of a fan favorite male lead character. You saw it with Lori and Rick in regards to dealing with Shane on TWD and how she became hated after that (her reaction to Rick telling her he killed Shane when that was what she was whispering in his ear she wanted him to do)…and on this show seeing Katrina whisper in Ichabod’s ear regarding Henry which started to create friction and issues with our two fan favorite leads (Ichabod and Abbie)….hence the fan dislike. Also she was fairly poorly written, and IMO feels forced onto the show. They could kill her off and i would not miss her for a second. I just dont buy her as his wife, i dont buy her as a cool character, i dont buy her as “strong”, all qualities i DO buy in regards to Jenny Mills (badass, strong, deep, very well written, fun, fits into the show, etc).
Obviously its all in the control of the writers, they haven’t done anything that “crosses the line” in regards to the character (yet), but if they want to make her better its 100% possible with better writing and planning. My recommendation is to add some humor to her and to add some fun…show her adapting to 2014-2015, show her having fun & trouble with fashion/technology/etc, show Katrina and Ichabod going to couples-counseling together, show them going on modern dates trying to re-ignite their flame and love for one-another…etc. Its the little human stuff like that that helps us fall for a character…i also feel its lacking in the ice-queens case as well (aka resting-bitch-face Abbie Mills). She needs to lighten up a bit, have some fun (preferably not banging the blonde dude who’s banged her sister already).
Please just have Henry/Jeremy realize he is really Walter Bishop and begin acting accordingly. ;-)
