Chapter 2 - The Other World and The Race to the Cave

Riko and I were running in the portal, Riko was still holding onto my hand tight making sure I didn't escape at all. We both saw a much brighter light at the end of the portal. When we got out I landed on my feet while Riko landed on her stomach on the grass.
"Ouch..."
She whined as she sat back up.
"Where are we?"
"Don't ask me I don't know."
I repiled to her.
"Okay then...who should I ask."
"Just like what I berkata a minit ago, don't ask I don't know either."
I was just as confused as her.
I walked away from her atempting to find out myself.
"H-hey Rin!"
I turned around and saw a machine behind me.
'Oh boy...'
Soon lebih came and surrounded me.
"Pain in the neck." I berkata before I slashed them in half one sejak one.
When I thought that I defeated them, I then saw a shadow from behind me. I turned around and saw a robot that was about to attack. When it was very close I bright light shot the robot and it fell back defeated.
"Riko, how did anda do that?"
My curiousity was being to grow in this strange world.
"I'll explain it on the way."
She seemed lebih serious than she was a little while ago.
We walked togetherin the green forest.
"When I was born I was telah diberi a tajuk called "Guardian". These Guardians chose there protector at the age of 13, and since I am 13 I choose anda as my protector."
It was making a little sense but there were a few puzzels missing.
"But why were anda Berlakon all happy and cheerful and now your Berlakon serious?"
"Oh, yeah... I usually act like that depending on what the situation."
She explained to me. I just kept on walking silently.
"So...why pick me?"
"Well anda remind me of a sister I used to have, but she passed away."
"I see...well sorry for bring that up."
"No need to, because I have her in my hati, tengah-tengah so there's no worries."
She smiled at me but something still wasn't right.
"Do anda have any other powers?"
"Um...Yeah but I'll reveal them sooner atau later."
"So, what was the other one then?"
"It's called 'Light Ray'."
"Oh."
I berkata and stood quiet as we walked side sejak side.
"Do anda know where the heck are we?"
"That I don't know."
she said; she as clueless as me like what I berkata when she was Berlakon all childish.
I stopped to see a big cave in front of me.
"Hey look."
I pointed out to her.
"Well anda want to look inside."
"No thanks, I'm not into exploring."
"There's nothing else to do and besides where else can anda go."
"Do got a point."
Riko and I walked inside the big empty dark cave.
We walked for 15 minit and still haven't reached a dead end yet.
"Maybe we should go back."
Riko said; I knew that she was getting saat thoughts.
"It was your idea so come on."
"Yeah but... hav-"
When she was about to say something she bumped into a pillar of some sort that made her collapse on the ground.
"Owwie."
She berkata and out of the ordinary the cave was lite with firefilies all around Riko and I. We were inside a old ruins from long ago.
"Wow..."
She dikomen while I stood quiet.
"What it this place?"
"How am I suppose to know."
I repeated myself...again.
We began to walk up the staircase and saw two white and red gems, they looked like shards that came from another gem but its hard to tell.
'Hmm I wonder what this says?'
I looked at the Penulisan from under the shards.
"oohh...pretty..."
Riko berkata as her finger got closer and closer, until she pricked her finger.
"Ouch!"
She berkata as the stone began to glow except for the other one seterusnya to it; we began to look at them curiously until my hand was moving closer and closer to the stone.
"Hey! Stop it! GGRR!"
I was stuggling for my arm to retreat but it didn't work.
Then at that moment my life turned upside down.
When the two shards glowed brightly for a few saat we shielded our eyes from the impact, then the light faded away and so did the shards that appeared around our necks.
"What was that all about?"
We both said.
When we took a glimpse at each other.
Only Riko screamed.
"R-Rin y-you turned into a-a hedgehog."
She shuttered as she looked at me.
"Well I'm not the only one that did."
She looked at me as if I was insane but when I showed her a mirror she screamed again.
"Can anda NOT scream and give my ears a rest for ONCE!!"
I yelled at her furious.
"Sorry...!"
she responded in a whisper
We were both hedgehogs.
I was a hedgehog with black bulu all over my body, I had quills that was a inch above the ground. I wore a black and white stripe short sleeve shirt, the same black shard that I pricked my finger was a kalung around my neck, one black sleeveless sarung tangan and one white sleeveless glove, black jeans, and black Tenis shoes with a white stripe across the middle (like Sonic's shoes) and has a golden buckle on the side.
While Riko was a white hedgehog, with blue icy eyes, her quills touched down to her neck, she wore a white baju with a black spageti strap baju on bahagian, atas of it, white jeans, the same white shard that she pricked her finger was a kalung around her neck, and she wore white Tenis shoes with a black stripe across it (like Sonic's shoes) and has a silver buckle on the side.
"Well we should get out of here and fast."
"Why?"
"Because if someone else saw that light they would be coming this way."
"Good point."
So we started to walk away from the ruins and the fireflies and the cave and into the light.

"What's taking them so long!?"
berkata the well known notorious Dr. Eggman himself.
He heard a rumor floating around about the Chaos Emeralds in a cave so he sent a few robots to find out if they were right.
"Doctor, we have new that the robots anda sent were destroyed sejak two humans."
"What!?"
He yelled furiously.
"That's not all we also have news that a bright light was coming from the cave. We still don't know what powered it but we are still looking that up still."
"Hmm..."
He thought for a minit until something hit him.
"Prepare the ship for full speed towards that ship!"
"Yes sir!"
His little servant berkata and ran out the door.
While Eggman sat back in his comfy chair and thought to himself.
'That cave must hold the ruins of Elemental Time! Yes! I'll finally uncover their secret power and use it for my plans for world domination! Not even that pesky Sonic can stop me this time.'

Riko and Rin having been walking for hours silently and peacefully without any fights until Riko finally remembered something.
"My ring! I forgot my ring!"
"Well lets go get it."
"Huh?"
"Well we have to stick with each other for survivial so come on."
"Alright but..."
"But what?"
"Can anda give me a piggy bank ride"
"It's piggy back ride, and no."
She berkata and walked away.
"Oh come on please!"
She asked with anjing, anak anjing eyes.
"*sigh* Fine...! But only one time and that's it!"
"Yay!"
She berkata and jumped on Rin's back.
"Hold on tight."
"Wha-!"
Before she could say a word they were off to the cave which holds the Elemental Time ruins.

Everything was peaceful on the world of Mobius as Sonic ran around the world.
When he suddenly stopped to see Eggman's ship pass sejak going full speed towards a cave not far from here.
'What's Eggman doing this time? I better go see before he makes his seterusnya move.'
Then Sonic ran towards the cave along side Eggman's ship not noticing someone else was on the other side of the ship.
Which started the race to the cave.
