I frowned when the almost invisble small bulatan in the air and the feeling that someone was watching me disapeared. I stayed statue still for another half an hour, untill I noticed the sun begining to set. I sighed, this was the time I went hunting; dawn atau dusk every other two days. I swung my legs over the side of the katil and swung open my door. I stopped though, and quickly grabbed my mirror to make sure I didnt have any lebih large traces of yellow in my eyes. It was alwase there though, a thin ring around my pupil, but when ever I got mad atau angry, atau even really, really scared, it would expand and cover the blue. I didnt want to know what would happen if I let it cover my entire iris, and I hoped I would never have to find out. I walked casualy yet silently out of my room. drake caught up with me anyways.
"Hey, Dawn, going for a hunt?" I knew Andrea, Annie, Lili, Sara, and Elise had told Stevan, Billy, Christopher and him about to hari and who I saw at the mall, but he didnt bring it up. I was glad to get my mind of it, and went out for a hunt with my brother.
I inched closer, preparing myself to jump on the unsespecting doe. She was a little ways of from her heard, exactly were I wanted her to be. I paused, then jumped, twisting in mid-air so I landed on her back and snapped her neck, ending her life as quickly as possible. I dug my fangs into her neck and let her blood ran fast down my throught. He body went limp in my hands, and I dropped her blood-less courps on to the dirt. I heard the sound of footsteps behind me, and I turned, wiping the blood from my mouth and expecting drake atau Stevan atau Christopher atau Billy, because the stepps were definatly male. But drake had only come with me for company-he had gone hunting two days ago- so he had left after the first deer. Billy atau Christopher atau Stevan, I wouldnt know what they were doing here.
I tuened around. Instead, there was another vampire. He was of medium hight-about two inches taller than me-, high cheek bones, red lips, and a slim yet muscular figure. I froze, my hand half-way across my mouth. He looked about 16 atau 17, he was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a jaket like a normal teenager, but his eyes were blood red. He staired at me, then suddenly his face was inches from mine. He lifted up my bangs and stared at my eyes, then nodded like he confrimed something.
"You have blue eyes, yet your a vampire. interesting." He muttered, half to himslef.
"I do?"I squeaked, my hand returning to my side. His hand was surprisingly cold against my head, because neither of us had a single drop of blood in our veins.
He smirked. "Didnt know that did you?" Then added in a hushed tone, like it was a secret, "They will be at your house in seven minutes, try not to get your self captured atau kiled." Then he dashed back into the forest. I stood there, my hand shaking, staring after him for three minutes. Then his warning wrang in my ears, and I dashed back, hoping I wont be late for......whoever. I only had to assume it was an army. I got utama about thirdy saat before 'they' did. My entire foster family was in the living room, doing something atau other, carefree. When I rushed in, they all looked up and stared.
"Jeez, Dawn, what-" Christopher was cut of sejak Andrea's deadly glare.
"Dawn, are anda okay?" Stevan stood up.
I shook my head. "No. There's an....... army-" The march of a hundred feet drowned out my words. Everyone was suddenly standing up. Steven pushed my behind him, and I felt fear crash over me. we formed a small line, Stevan in the front, Andrea on his right and a half step behind him, Billy on Stevans left, drake and Cristopher flanking Billy and Andrea, and Sara and Elise standing slightly in between drake and Christopher. I was in the back, forcefully put there sejak my foster family. Part of me huffed, wanting to see what was going on, but the other part of me wanted to run as fast as possible away from here.
The feet stopped about three yards from our house, but a light pair of feet acouponied sejak three heavy pairs of stepps kept moving.

There was a nock at the door, and a saat later it opened. In came a woman with a slim yet tall figure- about two and a half inches taller than me- and a deadly seducive walk. I felt my hate for her begin to bild up already. There were three body guards, one on each side and one behind her. She walked calmly and confidently up to our little line.
"Who are anda and what do anda want?" Stevan asked coldly.
"I am Maria." The woman smiled, not noticing everyones cold stare. But she did notice me, glaring at her inbetween Andrea and Stevan. She raised a figer and pointed at me. "I have come for her." Small gasps filled the room and all eyes fell on me. I stared back at her in shock.
"What do anda want with me?" I shoved my way out of Stevan and Andrea's protection and folded my arms.
"You dont know?" Maria rased an eyebrow in question. "Girl, who was your father?" I was caught of guard. I never, NEVER liked talking about......him. I felt my muscels tighten, my hands ball into fists, and my jaw clench.
"Why do anda care?" I answered evenly.
She smirked. "Just answer the question. Who-was-your-father?"
"Stevan." I answered after a brief hesitation. Maria just sighed.
"NO, BILOGICALY." She sounded exasperated.
"I dont know! He left two days after I was born, right after I opened my eyes for the first time. I never knew him." I huffed, almost shouting. Maria nodded, like she expected as much.
"Course he did. anda dont know what anda are." Maria snapped, and her body gaurds stepped forward. "You going to do this the easy way atau the hard way?" I took a step back, not sure what she was talking about. "Well, I guess its the hard way." Her body gaurds lunged forward, but Stevan reached out and pulled me back. He stepped up and started against the first one with Andrea, while Billy and Sara took one, and drake and Elise took the other. I stood back, staring with horror at the fighting scene. Maria snorted, then glared at me. She opened her mouth to say something, but Andrea beat her to it.
"Dawn, run!" She screamed at me. "We can handel them. just go! Run!" I cast a scared glance at her, then saw Maria dash to the door, to get lebih vampires. I let my insticts take over, and turned sharply and ran out the back door. I could here Maria calling to here vampire followers. The sound of thudding feet suddenly came after me. I ran fatser than I had ever run before, fear and saddness pushing me on. I heard foot stepps right behind me, and I shreaked. I saw a man-vampire, whatever- reaching for me. I tryed to push him back, but he grabbed my wrist. Imedeadly, I felt faint. I shook his hand off, instantly knowing what his power was.
Making Vampires pass out.
I didnt know how I was still standing, and apperantly neither did he. He gasped, and slowed down. I took my chance and turned back and spead up. I felt my stomache clamp up, and soon the taerless sobbs escaped me.
'There all dead......There all dead..... there all dead' the thought bounced around and around my head painfully. I was sure my entire foster family was dead. Stevan, Andrea, Billy, Sara, Drake, Elise, and Cristopher. My whole family. Dead. Gone. I ran and ran and ran untill I didnt know I was running, it was just something my legs did repetitivly. I didn't know that I had felt the fealling of someone watching me had come back. I didnt know what direction I was going in, just some wear, all the while sobbing. I jumped over a log, and a few feet later came into a small clearing.
No, not a clearing, a feild with a large house in the middle. And there were several people in a semi-circle around the around the area I came out of. No, vampires. They were taller than me, and they looked like they wanted me to stop, holding there arms open to the sides. ' They work for Maria. She must have sent them around to capture me' was all I could think. I screammed, trying to stop. But I slipped and fell backwards, hitting my head hard.
Then I passed out.
