The idol will check in for basic training at Choongnam, Noksan for four weeks. Afterwards, he will be serving 23 months of mandatory military service.
Even though Kim Heechul is a much-loved K-Pop ikon who receives international Cinta and support from his fans, he stated that for his enlistment, he would like to do it quietly and does not want to gather attention regarding this matter.
Representatives from SM Entertainment stated, “Kim Heechul will still be promoting with Super Junior and working on his Televisyen programs like MBC’s “Golden Fishery – Radio Star“ as a MC. He will be giving it all he’s got until the hari of his enlistment.”
Super Junior are currently in the midst of their promotions for their 5th album, “Mr. Simple“.
