I actually didn't like grown Lilith.
But I get why the changed her. The whole story line with Sam almost having sex with her to make the deal would be wrong if it was a little girl.

Yup, agree with you all! Everything is so black and white with kids, and little blonde Lilith was so frightening because of her powers. Imagine! 'I don't like you so I'm going to kill you.' Brr!

It's scarier seeing a little girl doing the sort of stuff Lilith would do, and also think of how traumatised the poor kid would be if she survived the possession.

@Aerohead - another reason they had to switch actresses for Lilith is that the vessel would also die when Sam killed her.
