To be fair, I've had a lot more time with the US version. Had the UK one gone on, I'd probably be devoted to it more.

I love both, but I've gotta say that my loyalties are with the US version. Please don't hate me! ;)

I've watched both versions of the Office and I enjoyed the US version more. Both of the fictional documentaries are a study of a microcosm of the culture of their country, so it makes sense that most Britons and most Americans enjoy the version from their country.

Darn. My idea was to see which show was winning and vote for the other one lmao. Because I really can't choose. I love them both too much.
But judging by subtlety and cleverness I'll have to say the UK. The US is very funny but the UK is just... amazing?

I don't like the UK one, mostly because I don't understand it, I am sure it's ok though, as there are probably a lot of people in the UK who don't get the US Office, because it is humor designed for a North American audiences, just like I don't get the UK Office because it's directed towards the people of Britain. Not to a Canadian like myself.

I actually think the US humour is pretty easy to understand because we've all grown up watching American shows. British is trickier and cruder.

you cant beat the original thats why I have a hard time with the US version. I'm Canadian and I totally got it, but then I grew up on cornation street and blackadder and all of the other UK shows you don't know what you are missing.

I love them both! I think they're both hilarious. I guess I like the added "drama" element of the US show. I think I get more laughs from an episode of the US one, but I get a few great ROFL moments from each episode of the UK one. So I guess I prefer getting more laughs from the US one. But whatever, they're both awesome!

I like the Office UK a bit, but not really it's a bit like smoore23 said, I love the 'drama' element in US, and I think that the jokes are just better

But I've only seen season 1, and I hear that the other ones are better.

I really love both, and it's almost not fair to choose. The first season of the US wasn't very good because it was basically rehash of the UK version. But wow has it grown! It just gets funnier and funnier and we get to know the characters a lot better. But I guess I have to say UK because it was such an original.

I think I just prefer the subtle, witty British humour. Its more my kind of comedy. It just depends on the comedy you like I guess.
