I didn't mind Barry/Patty when it got off the ground, but it happened so quickly, and Barry had to be talked into dating her by Joe, that it was a bit off. I also didn't like how they turned Patty into the clingy love interest towards the end of the relationship, and then had her trick him into revealing Barry's secret identity, and likewise, Barry was kind of a terrible boyfriend to her.
