If I was asked to pick a character that I would call my favorite villain from The Goonies, I know who I’d pick as first choice; it would definitely have to be none other than Troy Perkins.

Basically, I recall bringing up that film one day when I was in middle school; I said, “If I had to pick a favorite villain from the film ‘The Goonies,’ it would be that guy Troy Perkins.”

One of my classmates agreed with me. I can still hear him saying, “Oh yeah, Troy Perkins — the guy with the car, and the girl, and tilting the mirror so he could look down her shirt.”

I agreed before adding that I didn’t think what Troy did was very gentleman-like; my classmate agreed with me there, and commented, “Not only is that ungentleman-like, it’s also called ‘womanizing.’”(He was right about that.)

I felt I could not agree more.
