The Heroes of Olympus Article: Rants of a confused HoO peminat

hei guys, it's FantasyLover543 and I seriously have no idea how to write this thing and I know I'm going to regret it later but here goes-

First of all when I read TLH (the Lost hero ,duh) I liked it. I liked it very much. Here I'll like to add that unlike all(or most) of anda I read TLH before I read the PJO series(if anda don't know what PJO is anda don't deserve to be here). So it was my first time experience of this Greek-gods-are-alive-and-kicking-and-they-also-have-kickass-demigod-children world. And I admit that I liked it. But anda know what I liked most in the book? No,it wasn't Leo's awesomeness atau piper's I'm-no-barbie-doll stunts but it was Jason's sarcastic and pun filled komen-komen (for those who are shocked while Membaca this, yes Jason HAS made some awesome komen-komen in TLH. If anda can't remember just go and read it). And then I read SoN and MoA. And since I had no freaking idea about who Percy Jackson was, I enjoyed it all and so I never favoured Percy and Annabeth over Jason and Piper because I fell in Cinta with all of them together. I also like Frank and Hazel and Hazel is one of my favourite characters in the series. And about Leo? I just Cinta him(I have a high affinity for the mischievous and troublemaker guys). So all in all I loved everyone almost equally though Jason, Hazel, Annabeth, Percy and Leo were my favourite as I had things in common with all of them( I'll write another artikel on this topic). So naturally I didn't understand why people bad-mouthed Jason atau just adored percabeth (while disliking every other character). I even liked coach hedge and Octavian and Reyna and Thalia and all the other people from HoO I don't remember( though I really didn't understand anything about nico i.e. how he knew Percy and all that as I hadn't read PJO).

And then after Membaca three buku I started PJO. And anda know what? I liked it too. I mean most people would think that as I read TLH first I'll favour Jason over Percy but that's hardly the case. I Cinta them both equally (though I favour Percabeth over Jasper). It was like Membaca a book written in some codewords and then Membaca the key to the codes and then Membaca the book again. All the doubts I had were cleared and it was so much fun when I could now relate all characters differently than I had earlier. I finally understood where Nico stood in the whole series and I was able to appreciate Percabeth a lot better after that. I could finally understand why Annabeth was Berlakon so tough and scary(actually she was putting on a Brave face to keep herself from disintegrating) and I found out I had a lot in common with her(that'll be another article). Also I was able to trace Percy's journey from being a dyslexic-and-ADHD-having-apparently-good-for-nothing-back-of-the-class kid to being a hero.

Still, my friends' komen-komen haunted me.I mean I didn't find any fault in Piper atau Jason. So I asked them so and they gave me some pretty stupid reasons that are enumerated in pyroAA(that's his name right? )'s article. I just didn't know what to reply to that. They pestered me so much that after a certain period of time, I started hating Jason and Piper and Jasper too. But today I read pyroAA(I'm sure that's not his name)'s artikel and it all just cleared up and I realised that it's just not in my nature to hate people (fyi I'm even kind towards my enemies (even though I can sometimes piss people off sejak my in-your-face and honest-to-core comments( I can't help it I'm Sagittarius Lol)))

And so I wrote all this shit just to tell anda people that don't be so prejudiced and that keeping preconceptions about someone be it character atau person is really sick and that Jason is as kickass as Percy.

Spikegilfer1997 I disliked Jason heavily in TLH. He had the odd comment but overall felt unfinished. Leo was rad. I despised Piper. In SoN I disliked Frank in the beginning but liked him later. In MoA Jason became more likeable to me than Percy, Piper continued to annoy me, Annabeth went down in quality, Leo continued BAMFiness. In HoH I liked pretty much everyone. Certain characters, like Frank and Jason I'll like when I go back and read TLH and SoN respectively. Piper I still dislike. The more I connect the person in HoH to the person in TLH the more her good actions in HoH start to were off and the cliche overpowered character starts to return. I don't want to dislike her more than I want to dislike anyone. However when she first appeared to me I found her irritating and dreaded her chapters. Even compliments from Thalia, (A character I respect highly, although I liked her more before she joined the Hunt) felt cheap. I've put my thoughts down before but in brief, Piper has been dancing the line of acceptable and unnecessary since I finished HoH

FantasyLover543 I know I think I read your article and it's one of my favourites and I'm a fan of it( and I left a HUGE comment there) but I'm not targeting you or anyone with your.......um, opinions?( I can't find a suitable word) . It's for those stupid people who'll dislike anything for no apparent reason and also force others to join them ( namely, my idiot friends). Btw I loved your article and was quite impressed by the points you put forward. And I'm a bit unsure about piper too(Note that I didn't put her in my favourites list) because she reminds me of some unfairly gifted yet pathetically useless girls whom I happen to know. So I completely respect your opinion about her.

FantasyLover543 Oh Shit it wasn't your article I read it was TDDD's (~awkward pause~). I don't know why but I got confused between you guys I'm sorry (~more awkward ~). But I liked your opinion too it was exactly what I felt( idky but I feel exactly the same as a lot of people) anyways thanks for commenting.

Spikegilfer1997 No problem. The issue I found with Piper wasn't that she was worthless, in fact it was just the opposite. Essentially it was because there is no logic governing charmspeak, if it works and if it doesn't work is completely up to chance.
