Stephenie Meyer has berkata she plans for The Host to be a trilogy, with the saat book entitled The Soul and the third The Seeker. She has outlined them and written some, but as yet there is no release date.

The saat book has not come out yet, as Stephenie Meyer is still in the process of Penulisan it. She has berkata that she is "maybe twenty percent" done with it and that the outline she wrote for it was over fifty pages long.
