thanks and this is my first post it might only be a preview because I am a busy man but tell me what you think so here it goes
Jason's pov
I woke in my small,cold and dark house and swiftly moved across the Living rom/bed room to get my pure black hunting jacket and boots as soon as I put them both on I feel at home. I leave the room almost forgetting that my hunting partner is sleeping over before the reaping... the reaping the day you send your kids of to die I think, I move around the room stepping over my brother Andrew and sister Sophie both bigger than me the big differences show one is they are cowards they won't stand up to the Peacekeepers by going hunting not like me one bit.It takes me 5 minutes to get through the room to Sammy I gently shake her awake from her light sleep and see she has already changed for hunting."Sammy come on we have to go hunting before the reaping remember,"I say quietly, I can only just see her eyes widen in shock as she remembers what happened to her brother the year before at the games she had to watch him joining the careers as usual and then be slaughtered by his best friend, we can never look at that girl without remembering what she did to Sammy's brother. After a minute or 2 she calms down and gets up," Come on Jason lets go" she says with a slight twang of The Capitol accent in her voice.I nod and we start to move quickly out of the room and away from the house, after a few minutes I can't hold my question in any longer so I blurt out"Are you sure you can handle 19 votes for you in the reaping?... I can easily takes some off you if you like" I know its useless offering to take some of her votes of her back I have tried many times before but she just pushes me away and says no."Jason I have already told you no you cannot take any of my votes off my back... now come on we're almost to the gap."she says making sure I get the point.
As we reach the gap I stop and listen for the hum of the fence showing that is electrified I wait.... nothing happens so I start to shimmy my way through the gap in the fence right down at the bottom and just s I am about to get my whole body through I feel a stick Whack my butt as its going through and I hear the laughter of Sammy as she goes down and gets through the gap. My eyes narrow as I say "you are so dead for that Sammy and you know it. I chase her and we stop only to pick up our hand made bow n arrows and swords then I chase for an hour until we stop at our hollowed out tree that we use as a storage and resting place we talk for hours.
"Sammy I think we have to get back now so lets divide the haul evenly okay and then go back and get ready okay" I say hours later I see a taught nod as Sammy tries not to remember her brother at the reaping. We divide the haul with both of us getting: A rabbit 5 fish and a bit of wild dog meat.
one hour later and we are all lined up in rows of boy,girl,boy,girl all the way down with me and Sammy standing beside each other holding hands and her head on my shoulder when our new escort stands up with her signature"Happy Hunger Games!and may the odds be ever in your favour and now to the reaping so Ladies first oh yes and remember its 2 boys and 2 girls this year.And the first Girl is Sophie Orion"My eyes widen at the realization of that its my sister"numer two is Sammy Rain"a tiny tear runs down my cheek as Sammy steps up and Effie moves to the boys" number one is Jason Orion"my face hardens as I step up on to the stage"oooh I just love it when brothers and sisters are picked so are you brothers"Sophie answers while giggling"Yes we are"Effie continues"and number two is Andrew Orion

wow another Orion that is the first we've had of 3 family members... so that concludes todays reapings and as ever may the odds be ever in your favor." As Andrew walks by me he whispers"Your first traitor" and walks away to the peacekeepers leaving me with Sammy whos crying ."Sammy I am not going to let you die okay your going to be okay" I say as I pull her into my embrace repeating it over and over
