Not really because i don't live in a time when people watch kids kill each other in the name of entertainment. plus, my life is so much easier than katniss's. lol. i do admire her though (that until towards Mockingjay)

yes definitely! that's what's so harrowing about the series. i can imagine something like this happening. it's already happened in a way with Hitler and the Jews. war happens all the time. and the message i get from the book is that we should think about what we do now because every action-no matter how small has it's consequences. but also that it's never too late to change things and make amends.
