The only positive thing about the newer seasons is the better animation.

I won't say it's just completely going downhill every time but it's pretty damn close.

Seasons 1-3 had actual stories, they actually took the time to come up with a plot. But season 4-6 have sucked so much it kinda hurts. The legendarium thing was cool, and it's cool the trix are still out and about but as far as the plots go, I'm so disappointed.
The spells suck.
The plots and side plots suck.
Most of the couples suck.
The villains minus the trix, have sucked.
The dialogue sucks.
You catching my drift?
It's sucking dramatically.

And it's because they were so focused on getting it out to the public ASAP they didn't even develop a real plot. It's like a group of people gave Iginio an idea but they rejected them all. They didn't have a choice but to take one of those rejected ones and chose the dumbest one of them all.
Sometimes I think they should base a season on a good fan fiction. Or at least look at all the comments, take them into consideration and try to not suck so much. that's what she said ;) But the point is please think of some better plots and focus more on that then how fast you get it out to the public.
And speaking of which their barely doing good at that. They have NO airing schedule but to makes us wait 1, 2 whatever months. They had to do a, from what I've heard, shitty online marathon in order to catch up. And I don't know what's up with episode 17. Italy seems to be missing it too. For once, Nick is innocent.

I have to pick worse. I stopped watching it on season 5. Mainly because they cut out Diaspro, aka my favorite character.

I believe that after season four, the plot took a horrendous decline in quality and originality. The show just became so mundane and boring to watch, that I barely even got half-way done with the fifth season. The writers just seem to want to cram in all this stuff into the confines of twenty some minutes, that they just toss all continuity out of the window. The villains in later seasons are pathetic, and the rip offs from previous seasons are blatantly obvious. Season six is just dribble, in my opinion, filled with stereotypes of stereotypes whenever the Winx and Daphne go off to some part of the world to find more about this stupid book and fairy godmother (for example: the episode where they go to China. Please stop. You're only making this worse).

And the transformations aren't even exciting to find out about any more. I remember when Believix and all it's add ons were shrouded in mystery, and I didn't even think Lovix and Sophix were real when I first saw pictures of them. The only way you could know what was going on in season four was; watching it in Italian or by looking up screenshots. And even though the Believix add-ons were meh, they're still better than freaking Bloomix and Sirenix. I cannot stand how half a season, the girls will be in this one transformation that is basically useless, and then switch over to another that is "da best thing 5ever". Y'all are making things too complicated.

And the new characters suck. They really do. That's what season 4 did well. All of the characters that were introduced there were all unique and interesting. And that season took a risk, too. It finally deviated from the same formula of a villain going after Bloom. They brought a new character along, Roxy, and she was a very good character in my opinion. All of the others were awesome too. The Earth fairies were great, the villains were cool and I even liked the new Alfea students they introduced in the first few episodes. That’s where the newer seasons fall flat. All the ‘newer’ (I’m putting that in quotes since Daphne isn’t technically a new character) characters all seem to revolve around a pre existing character- 9 times out of 10, that character being Bloom. I mean, for God’s sake, Selina even knew who Bloom was! We don’t need any more information about you. Bugger off.

Though the animation is alright, I find it too flashy in my taste. Yeah, it’s a girls show where they’re constantly using magic, but that doesn’t mean you need to overdose on sparkles and bright flashes and intense anime lines (guyz pls this isn’t anime). The show went bad after season four, and the only reason their continuing it is because it’s a cash cow. Marketers know that it will make money, so they’re constantly backing up anything having to do with Winx. It’s sickening, really.

Straffi just needs to realize that Winx’s time has finally come, and he should just stop this monstrosity before it fucks itself up even more.

I agree with all of you. I was about 7 or 6 when winx premiered. I had this friend who I hanged out with at that time. We always rushed home to watch a new episode. I remember when I dedicated myself to the best of my ability to be a fairy, but now, I've lost it.

I hate Daphne, I hate the new villains and all that garbage. I hate how they changed my favorite characters, I hate how the show is such a cash cow. I hate how its so centered on Bloom, STILL. I better stop there. I love the past seasons, but now it sucks to have such a beautiful childhood ruined.

i actally like it its exciting and new full new adventures i also love the fact that we got too see Floras parents i been dying too seem them i love the new plot and transformations its very creative plus we get cool creatures like goth vampires we mu7mmies we dont ever see in winx thats my thoughts on it though my favourite season is season 1

Went with "it's getting worse" but that's not entirely accurate to how I feel. I actually think that it suddenly got worse around season 4-5 and then has stayed pretty much the same since then. That was when I lost interest in the plot. I'm not really a huge fan of all the different transformations, either. I think I'd have preferred it if there were fewer transformations, but more abilities within each one. I also hoped to see more personality development, especially for the main characters. I love re-watching the older seasons though! Also, I do agree with SummerThunder that the animation quality is improving.

They should make 1 more final season to finish everything and then put an end to it. Now, they make everything worse and worse. They are ruining the characters, the plot, everything just because of the money they get. If you compare the first seasons with the last ones, you will see how much worse the last ones are. I think it is so sad that they don't care anymore about the fans and that they only think about the money. This is not the winx club were we grew up with. :(

Petition for seasons 5-7 to be remade. Seriously, it's obvious bs ideas were incorporated and less time was focused on an intriguing plot.

Does it really matter, though? There is a solution. If you think it’s getting worse, you probably shouldn’t watch it. But it’s your choice
