Tiger Woods is a human being just like the rest of us. We all make bad choices and many of us get caught up in addictions that take over our lives. We are miserable but can't seem to stop. If getting over an addiction was so easy we would all just "say no" and everything would be just fine. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Addicitions of all kinds-sex, drugs, alcohol, are deadly-the only alternatives to stopping and getting help are "jails, institutions, and death"
What we do under the influence of our addictions is NOT who we really are. Rich, poor, inbetween-addictions can affect anyone. Yes, right is right and wrong is wrong-there are consequences. But when an addict admits the problem and feels devasting remorse then others should forgive-we all live in glass houses and have no right to judge when a person is sorry and desparately trying to get better. Cinta and encouragement is the answer. I hope and pray Tiger and his wife can work through this-their beautiful, innocent children need a daddy and a mommy. Keep the faith Tiger- anda made a mistake-God forgives you- now forgive yourself and don't worry about what the public thinks-they have their own stuff-it's just out there for us to see.
