The seterusnya morning, I woke up. Courtney was already up and dressed for school.

"Morning, Gwen!" She smiled.

I yawned. "Morning, Courtney." All of a sudden, there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get!" Courtney ran to the door and opened it.

"Who is it", I asked.

Courtney slammed the door. "No one."

"Oh." I got out of katil and headed for the door to the bathroom down the hall to take a shower. After I came back, I got dressed. "I'll see anda in class."

"Okay."

I then walked out. As soon as I did, I bumped into someone. I realized it was Duncan. "Hey", I smiled.

"Hey." He smiled. "I stopped sejak your room to walknyou to class, but someone felt the urge to slam the door in my face."

"That was my roommate, Courtney. Sorry about her."

"It's okay. Can I walk anda to class now?"

I smiled. "Sure." We walked to my class. "Thanks."

"No problem." He kissed my cheek. "I'll see anda later." He walked off.

After hours passed and I was finally walking out of my last class, I dropped my buku as I bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry-", I couldn't finish my apology. As soon as I looked up, I saw the face of my annoying(and I'm putting a lot of emphasis on annoying) ex-boyfriend Trent.

I hadn't realized he had already picked up my buku from the floor. "Hey, Gwen." He handed me my books.

I took them and bolted toward my dorm.

"Hey, Gwen." Courtney was working on homework.

"Hey."

"Are anda okay? anda look like you've seen a ghost."

"Worse. I ran into my ex."

"Oh."

My cell phone rang. "It's him! Oh my God", I said, annoyed.

"Give it me." Before I could answer, Courtney snatched the phone that I just took out of my pocket from my hand. "What's his name?"

"Trent."

Courtney pressed the talk button and put the phone to her ear. "Hi, Trent", she berkata in a cheery voice. "You're right, I'm not Gwen. I'm her roommate, Courtney. Where's Gwen?" She looked at me for help.

"Tell him I went out", I whispered.

"She went out", Courtney repeated into the phone. "When will she back? I'm not sure, but I do have something to tell you." Her face got serious. So serious, it scared me. "If anda call, try to talk, atau even go near Gwen....I will kill you." She smiled. "Bye!" She hung up the phone and gave it back to me.

I just looked at her with a scared expression. "A-Are anda s-serious?"

"Of course not! It was a joke!" She laughed.

I laughed too.

I should've known she was serious. But sejak that time, it was too late.
