Courtney's POV: The seterusnya morning, I ran to school, since I missed the bus. My dumbass sister Mitzi forgot to wake me up, so I woke up after my bus came and ran to school.

I arrived at school, much to my irritation, since I got there the same time my bus emptied. I found Bridgette and Gwen and walked with them toward the school.

"Hey, are anda in the school talent show?" Bridgette played with her blonde pigtails.

"Dunno, nobody berkata who is going to practice atau not." I shook my head of thick brown hair.

"Were anda any good?" Gwen looked at me with dark brown eyes, her short thick blue and black hair bouncing.

Suddenly, I felt a hand on my keldai and Duncan brushed past me with a wink, wearing the outfit he wore at auditions yesterday.

"Did he just grab your ass?" Bridgette looked at me curiously.

"Yes, and I'll kick his keldai if he does it again." I walked away from them to get to homeroom before them.

I walked into homeroom and sat in a front seat, Duncan following and sitting sejak me.

"What do anda want?" I narrowed my eyes.

He inhaled through his teeth. "I'm here to make sure anda don't spill my secret." He looked toward the board in the front of the room.

I snorted. "Duncan, do anda HONESTLY think I'd spill your secret to 40 people?"

He shrugged. "Can't trust anda very much."

I pat his back. "Smart boy."

He laughed.

"OMG, hi Court!" Tiannah gushed and sat sejak me and Duncan, her long black-and-blonde-and-blood-red hair up in a long messy ponytail.

"Hey."

"Soooo..." She took my hand and put it on Duncan's muscular arm. "Anything happen between anda two? Ya know..." She moves her lips in a Ciuman suggesting way.

"No." I berkata sternly, glaring at her.

"I wish." Duncan scoffed.

I slapped him, but it didn't affect him whatsoever.

Tiannah laughed, and behind her black-and-green braced teeth, I saw something I nowhere near wanted to.

Fangs.

I smiled awkwardly at Duncan, trying to conceal my anger. "Duncan.....can I talk to anda privately?"

He winked at Tiannah. "Sure."

He started gettin up, but I latched onto his thin wrist and dragged him out of the room, him nearly falling over chairs in his way. I walked into the janitor's closet with him and shut the door and locked it, so nobody could hear us.

"Why didn't anda tell me Tiannah is a vampire!?" I whispered.

"She is?" Duncan tilted his head and looked at me, confused.

"YES!" I spoke through gritted teeth.

"I didn't know."

"How can anda not know?! She's your cousin!"

"She must've kept it a secret from me. She doesn't know I'm a vampire."

That made a lot of sense. And sejak the look in his eyes, he was telling the truth. His eyes were full of wonder, sadness, disbelief, and... love.

I sighed. "Sorry."

"Eh, it's ok. But how can I be sure you'll keep my secret safe?"

"You can't."

"Oh, I bet I can." He winked and started to walk out. Then, he spun back around, pressed me against the wall, and kissed me. I didn't move, I didn't sertai the kiss, I didn't do anything.

He pulled away and walked out with a smile, leaving me speechless in his walk.

Duncan's POV: Later that night, I lay on my black bed, staring up at the sky. I was so bored and so determined to make Courtney admit that she likes me. I know she does, and she knows she does, but I think it's like a secret-relationship thing. Like, she likes me around me, but when she's around people she hates me. But I have to get her to ease up to that.

My cell phone rang on a Rawak section of bed, and I leaned over and looked at it. I got a request to be in a chat with Gwen and Bridgette. Ugh, I don't feel like talking. I'm death to everyone, I'm a vampire. Eh, what the heck?

I clicked "Accept" and the chat started.

Midnightdragon: yo, duncan, u here?

bjeanbadboy17: o the fact that she likes me and wont admit it?
Midnightdragon: exactly
