“What’cha readin’?” Cody berkata in a sing-song voice as he walked up behind Noah. The high IQ didn’t bother to look up, “A book.”


“What’s it about?”


“Text on a page, see?” He held up the book and let Cody get a glimpse at the words for a mere second.


“No,” The slightly smaller nerd whined, “What are the words about?”


Noah glanced up, his expression menunjukkan no emotion, “If I told you, I’d have to kill you,” and he went back to his nose being stuffed into the spine of the book he held.


Suddenly, Noah felt his hands slip from the pages and his precious, precious book had disappeared. Cody dangled the book from his fingertips in front of the other male, “Want it back?”


“Yes! Now give me!” The bookworm took a dive to snatch it back, but only fell flat on his face.


Cody transferred all of his weight onto his left leg; he leaned back in a nonchalant style, “I’ll give it back…For a price.”


“What do anda want, Cody?” Noah groaned as he pushed himself off of the ground beneath him.


“I—no, anda wouldn’t do it, never mind.”


“I just got to the climax. The suspense is killing me. Just tell me what anda want so I can know what happens.”


Cody inched towards Noah’s right ear, whispering something inaudible.


“You want me to kiss you?” Noah’s face turned red and his face burned, “W-w-why? This isn’t fair!”


“It’s the only way.”


Noah sighed, pecking the other boy on the lips and grabbing the book in one pantas, swift movement. He quickly ran off.


“Do anda want to grab lunch atau something sometime?” Cody yelled.


There wasn’t a reply.


“That’s fine; we can talk about this later!”
