If anything, I dislike him even more!

For one thing, Eric wouldn't have even been in danger in the first place if it weren't for Bill, who flat out lied to Flanagan about Eric being dangerous just so he could kill him. Selfish.

Secondly, Bill made that plan while being fully aware of Sookie's feelings for Eric. He didn't care a bit about how much it would hurt her if Eric died; all he cared about was making sure Eric couldn't get any closer to her and he was willing to lie, manipulate and murder to make that happen. Selfish (not to mention barbaric).

Thirdly, I'm sure Bill realized that sparing Eric would only benefit him in the end, because Sookie would never forgive him if he went through with the assassination. Setting Eric free makes it look like he defied Flanagan to save Eric's life, which is likely to make Sookie see him as a hero instead of the bad guy, which once again gives him the opportunity to manipulate her into feeling sorry for him.

What Bill did was cowardly and pathetic and he deserves to be miserable for it. Sookie has telah diberi him plenty of chances to take responsibility for his actions, and every single time he screws it up sejak lying to her atau manipulating her. She deserves better.

Beyond the whole, "it was Bill's fault Eric was put in that position," Bill didn't spare Eric's life because he wanted Sookie to be happy, he spared his life because he realized he could use the "I saved him" as a manipulation against her. He convinced Flannagan to let him kill Eric. He knew Eric had no memories at all, knew that he was no threat at all. And he still wanted to kill him.

He allowed Eric to be dragged outside. He picked up the pisau thing and raised it above his head. He had every intention of killing Eric until Eric's words ("Sookie still loves you") sunk in. It had nothing to do with Sookie's feelings for Eric at all.

I have always liked Bill, but after what he did to Sookie I was a little annoyed but is it just me atau has he gotten really sexy this season.

No he's annoying. And not hot, he looks so old.

I still don't like him he was selfish and jealous when he has no right to be. He lied to the Authority to have a rival killed.
He only change his mind because of guilt. He saw how selfless Eric was and couldn't live with his own flaws. So he did the right thing and set him free. But the truth is Eric shouldn't have been in trouble in the first place. He was in danger only because Bill is a pr*ck.
So still dislike him. And I doubt it will ever change

I think when it comes to Bill to much damage has been done. It was lie after like, betrayal after betrayal. It's great that he finally did something totally unselfish and purely for Sookies happiness but it my eyes he owed her at least that. No i was once a Bill peminat but that is long over for me.

That's the thing, he does seem act unselfishly in that eps, but I can't really trust him, he always seem like he's hiding something, and I do think his character really fitting as a politician, anda can't really know he's act based on himself atau others

Cinta him atau hate him, Bill's clearly thinking about the moment when Eric gets his memory back. He knows Sookie is not going to have the same feelings for him when he goes back to being the old Eric, and he plans on being there for her when that happens.

i Cinta bill for one he's not a cold blooded killer like eric he's lebih in control of his blood lust than eric he only loves sookie too it's not a crime judging purely on the characters bill & eric (not the actors that play them as most of anda are) bill is the most stable he may have faults but theres nothing he wouldn't do for sookie even let eric live and be free and be with sookie

I like Bill a lot. I think he's a nice guy and genuinely loves Sookie. Sure there was that lying thing, but Sookie forgave him for it. However, I prefer Eric. I'll admit it's hard to argue because of what Eric was like in beginning of the series. But I saw him change, and I saw Sookie slowly falling for him (even before she drank his blood) and Eric slowly beginning to care and eventually fall (before his memory loss) for Sookie. As I said, this would be very hard to argue but I still think that, simply stated, Eric is awesome! I Cinta his character and I much prefer Sookie with Eric.
