In the buku Bill does not propose to Sookie because Vampires and humans cannot get married. (She keeps pointing that out throughout the series) but yes he does get kidnapped at the beginning of book 3, which is the main focus of the book.

I've been wayching the tunjuk from the beginning and absolutely Cinta it but I've been wondering recently if I should read the books? I know Alan berkata that the tunjuk and the buku aren't necessarily going to match up so is there any point?
