Chapter 9
The Seven Deadly Sins
Greed, gluttony, envy, lust, sloth, pride, and wrath. The seven deadly sins, we all know what they are. Commit one and anda are sinner, commit all, anda are very bad sinner.
If I have ever believed I committed one it would be wrath, I have a good temper, believe me, but when it is broken. When I’ve met my breaking point, that is when I am at my most unpleasant.
In the bible, it tells us about all kinds of sins, but those seven our are one way ticket to the underworld. anda cannot commit them, atau anda are in danger of where you’ll go. Because thou shall not sin.
After spending half the hari at the mall, I went back utama to put my new stuff away, and still wearing my fancy attire. I kept the clothes on, and went to a church that was open twenty-four seven. Without thinking I entered the holy place, and went to followed the low buzz of noise, people religious Muzik played as people lightly talked to one another. atau read bible scriptures together, atau bowed there knees and heads and prayed. Mind you, it was still Saturday, very late at that.
But still a lot of people had come. I must of looked out of place, because someone came up to me and asked if I needed anything.
“Um…I’m okay, I just wanted to visit, and now I don’t know what to do,” I said, feeling my cheeks heat up.
The women hugged my sympathetically. “Don’t worry sweetie, a lot of us are lost. anda came to the right place, and the first step to beginning is to believe.”
She led me to the front of the room near the stairs, where the people where praying.
“Do anda want to…?” The kind woman asked, looking at me expectantly.
I nodded.
The woman hugged me, and whispered. “Your strong dear, don’t let anyone break anda down.”
I don’t know why but at those words, I felt my eyes tear up and tears fall down. “I won’t.”
After giving a quick Ciuman to my cheek, the woman helped my kneel and then left me when I could cope. I bowed my head, closed my eyes, and I prayed.
Sunlight filtered through my window, and I opened my eyes. I almost freaked at the setting but I calmed down when I remembered the nice women offering me a place to sleep. I knew from the text message I got yesterday that my brother and father would be gone the whole weekend, so I didn’t have to worry about to furious men when I went back home.
I walked out of the room and went back to the main room again to have a delicious aroma assault my nose. I followed the scent all the way and entered a kitchen, the nice lady from yesterday was cooking with some other girls.
She looked up and upon seeing me grinned. “Good morning Sweetie, want some breakfast?”
She laughed at my eager nod, “it’ll be done in a few, in the meanwhile why don’t anda sertai the group outside.”
I nodded and following her instructions, I found a group of people sitting on the grass, in a bulatan formation. Close sejak was a beautiful garden, water fountains dotted the area around it.
The group were silently discussing something, two of whom looked familiar.
“Summer!” Cory and Corrie yelped, causing everyone to swivel their heads toward me.
“Ah, a new arrival, Summer?” A boy, probably nineteen yeas old, said.
I nodded.
He grinned. “Join us.”
I smiled back as I sat in between Cory and Corrie, who so graciously offered the spot. I tried not to gawk at Corrie, who’s usual dark pelangi, rainbow hair was now a normal dark brown as her brother. It was weird to see her look…normal, I was used to her rebel look, but now she looked like any other pretty normal kid.
How I longed to be normal.
“So we were discussing the Seven Deadly Sins, the things that we shouldn’t do. anda know what the sins are, Summer?”
“Yes,” I said.
“Good, were also talking about the good things we can do.”
“Like forgiving and forgetting,” Corrie put in helpfully.
“Yes,” the man said, smiling charmingly at her. “An important one two.”
Cory rolled his eyes, while Corrie blushed smiling back.
“A good deed, is a good deed. A bad deed, is a bad deed. We ask the Lord to forgive us for our sins and he does, so we have forgive other people for their sins…” I zoned out on the rest.
Forgiving and forgetting, and if anda don’t you’ve committed a sin. Was I angry at him? atau was he angry at me?
“So let’s continue on our discussion. What sin were we talking about?”
“Pride,” the group said.
“Pride, when someone feels there superior, better than everyone else. Have anda ever felt that anda were lebih important than anything else, even God himself? Pride is like the Cinta of one’s own excellence, an antonym would be guilt. And when someone is prideful, they are sinful.”
The group nodded, me among them. The Cinta of one’s own excellence.
The Cinta of one’s own excellence.
The Cinta of one’s own excellence.
Those words kept replaying over and over in my head. I remember one time when father boasted and sounded like that definition. He kept on saying how he was better than everybody else, and how no one could compare to his genius.
Father always brags about his excellence, often too.
Does that mean it’s too late to save father, atau is he still hanging there waiting to be saved.
Waiting to be rid of that monster who kills.

I deny the truth,
But really,
That is nothing.
I do that just to protect myself.
I cannot let the truth overcome me
All at once,
I must let it come at me
Pieces sejak pieces.
The truth is always shocking,
At many times sad.
But I must accept the truth
Even after a while.
Because denying the truth
Is like lying to myself
Denying the truth hurts my soul
But it also protects my soul at the same time.
I don't know what to believe.
It's all too shocking for me.
I deny the truth.
I protect my soul.
I protect myself.
But I also hurt myself.

One day. A girl named Rachel was camping with her friend, Misty. Later, they climbed trees. When Rachel fell from 5 feet, Misty went into the deep, dark forest to look for the ranger. After 2hours, Rachel decided to look for her friend. After searching, she found a row of what looked like cottages. Curious, she stepped into a newly built one. She saw a girl with long whitish-blonde hair and a white dress, slightly torn. You know, it kind of looks like..."AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

That we use.
It's not gold,
Zinc, copper, atau silver.
Oil, not even close.
They are
Courage, determination
How women could have their rights
Today
The treasures of the world
The one and only place
Where anda can find people
Of different color and sex
Where anda can find blacks,
Asian, Syrian, and Australian
Oh the people of the world
The treasures of the world
The treasures of the world
Use them wisely
Do not leave them in chains
For the people anda break
They will break anda back.
Oh the treasures of the world
(All the colors, all the people)
The treasures of the world
(All the colors, all the people)
The treasures of the world
