THE FIRST GUARDIAN
Centuries ago, when humans began to exploitthe dragons' Knowledge and power for themselves, something had to be done. A special meeting of Parliament was called to address the problem. The king, who, at six centuries of age, still retained his youthful musculature, countered every proposal Parliament put forth.
"We must isolate ourselves from the humans. Our power is too great for them to have."
"No. I have a better idea." The king proceeded to outline his plan.
The plan called for humans to be selected to guard and use the dragons' abilities for good. Allthat remained was to draw up the qualities that would be required of the new "Guardians."
*
When the plan had solidified, Naga streamed through thed portal, each searching for a Guardian of their own. Most of the new Guardians were young children, too young to fully understand the responsibility. Their innocence attracted the Naga like moths to light.
Only one dragon ignored the young humans. Human chhildren went through many phases, innocence being only one. This dragon, a copper female whose name is Lost to history, had an idea of her own.
She was searching for a human, just like all the rest. However, she was different in the quaalities she looked for. Her Guardian had to be mature, yet retain its childood innocence. Only one fit both sies of the equation.
He was a peasant boy of about seventeen years of age. His face had not yet Lost its childhood roundness. His name was Arthur Pendragon.
*
Arthur was plowing the wheatfield when the dragon approached. The massive female stood in the middle of the field, glaring at him with one eye bright as a new copper coin. After many minutes, she spoke.
"Are anda Arthur Pendragon?"
"Yes. Now if anda don't mind, I have plowing to do," he replied curtly. The dragon's copper eye narrowed.
"You would do well to learn some manners, simple boy," she retorted.
"I may be a peasant, but that doesn't mean I am simple."
"Simple atau no, anda are to come with me." Thanks to the dragon,.Arthur eventually became king of his land. Over the centuries, those of his line were always chosen as Guardians. Not too long ago, humans distanced themselves from magic. Naga became a story, and the Guardians faded into oblivion. It wasn't the fault of the dragons, for there was no stopping the decline. Humans quickly descended into rough, grasping barbarians.
The humans killed for the sake of killing, slaughtering their siblings in cold blood. The only way to restore order was to restore the Guardians.
***
The tajuk of this new book is a play on Garden of Eden.
Arthur Pendragon, the first Guardian, is indeed the King Arthur of legend.
Any magical being can choose a Guardian, but Naga established the tradition.
Dragon magic is complicated. Strict rules govern its use. One rule, which came about through the language itself, prevents Naga from using any magic on themselves, even healing spells. lebih will be covered as it comes up.
I think that covers everything for this chapter. Let me know if you're still confused.

It's sad
It's the truth
Fighting through what it is
But I'll be stronger
I've gone through
Mounds of pain
I've been through
The deepest waters
Nobody can change my past
It's the truth, and it changed me
Sad to even hear the truth
Sad to...say the truth
Reality's always sad
And no one's gonna escape it.
It's how I became who I am today
It's how I didn't brag.
Why does this have to happen?
Why did it have to end?
Why does the world have to be so confusing?
Why did the fun have to end?
The world's just a crazy place
And no one's gonna stop that thought
Cause I'm broken for good...
Because of...the truth.

Tell me darling why anda cry,
Your tears stain the katil anda lay upon
Could it be anda miss the ones anda clung to so tight,
Nothing but a scared little fawn
The flames burnt away your past and future,
The hate did nothing but balance your grief
What now? That’s presents question,
Something so fragile like a branch being clung to sejak a leaf
Where is your mother little dove?
What happened to those loving others who filled your empty nest?
How many word of the world can anda rhyme with love?
Perhaps someday we will know with, proper care and rest
When pursuing dreams take chances and strive for nothing less than best
Then only then can anda be sure you’ve completed life’s most demanding quest
Your tears stain the katil anda lay upon
Could it be anda miss the ones anda clung to so tight,
Nothing but a scared little fawn
The flames burnt away your past and future,
The hate did nothing but balance your grief

When pursuing dreams take chances and strive for nothing less than best
Then only then can anda be sure you’ve completed life’s most demanding quest
Soar, soar
Soar beyond your wildest dreams.....
There's no limit
On how much anda can soar
No one can
Break your wings and kill you
Soar for the skies,
Don't let the feelin go
Just soar, soar like never before
No one's gonna stop you
From believin
There wasn't a time
When nobody could never soar
But there was a time
When people never believed
And tomorrow
Isn't the hari to fall
And nobody's gonna push anda down
Oh almighty eagle
We're gonna be the powerful eagles
We're not gonna let anyone
Be our ruler,
We're not anyone's slave
Almighty eagle
Oh soar, soar towards the sky's height
And soar toward your dream
Let nothing keep anda away
Almighty eagle
Soar beyond your wildest dreams
And we're gonna fly tonight
Let nobody keep us down.
Life can be hard. Especially for me, Lily West, your almost-average 16-year-old girl. Most people think it's weird I'm bald. Others think I'm going to die. Then there's the occasional person who tries to take pity upon me. I'd rather they not, because some say it like I'm a helpless little penyu on its back. Sometimes I wish I die already, and sometimes I wish that I was a completely different person. Yes, it's tough having cancer. I just wish that they would respect me for a person instead of a helpless little bug.
