People who are extremely passionate about a certain non endgame ship tend to remain that way. It`s the feeling of not getting what you "deserved" to get,what your own couple deserved truly to get. And it`s that feeling that keeps you active,passionate or whatever you call it. 	housefrk picked Nah,It always depends on the ship etc.: Well, I'd think you'd have to be, because in order to be dedicated enough to continue to ship a couple that you know isn't going to happen, you have to be pretty passionate about it. But, on the other hand, there are some people very dedicated to endgame couples too. I think it's just that, with non-endgame couples, there's no middle ground. 	TheBoySawAComet picked Nah,It always depends on the ship etc.: yeah i think certain ships feel anger, and bitterness towards not getting the ending that they wanted for their couple. naturally. so they probably also feel like they have something to prove... like always having to justify that their couple is still great, even if they didn't get endgame. and that anger, defensiveness, and determination to prove their couple's greatness, (and the endgame couple's crappiness) comes across as passion i guess? posted hampir setahun yang lalu.

Like, I'm a Jater, we got our perfect endgame, but we're still as passionate and active as when the show was still airing, and not only on here, on other sites too (fanforum, lj, lost forums, etc). I mean personally, if I decide to ship a couple, I'm usually with them until the end, whether they are endgame or not isn't really the issue, because if I adore them, I simply adore them. I have had both ships that were endgame, like Mulder and Scully, and ships that weren't, like Phoebe and Cole. And I can honestly say that whether they are endgame or not I am just as passionate about each ship. I can understand people thinking that shippers who didn't get their endgame are more passionate, because in a way you feel robbed, but if you truly love a ship, you are as passionate, regardless. I'm passionate becuase I love them and think they're amazing. End of story. Endgame means very little to me.
