Does Ayone Know Who The Original Carlisle Cullen Was ?

In iMDb (source for movies) it says:"Henry Cavill was offered the part of Edward Cullen due to the peminat base he had of him playing Edward. He declined the offer, and was later offered the role of Carlisle Cullen but declined that role as well."....
It also says that SM had originally a cast in mind for Twilight...In that cast Carlisle would be played sejak Charlie Hunnam:)
