[/b]End of Chapter 4[/b]
“What can we do?” Grandma Esme asked. She didn’t want a fight and that was quite clear.
“Why don’t we do what we planned to do before?” Uncle Emmett responded. “Why don’t we just fight them?”
“Emmett, as we battle, I am sure Bella won’t be able to keep individual shields around each of us and as soon as on of us gets uncovered, Jane atau Alec will attack. We can’t take chances.” Grandpa always hated violence and I was sure as he berkata this he would do everything in his power to make a fight the last possible outcome.
“Aunt Alice?” I asked in a small voice “I don’t want to go anywhere.”
“Don’t worry Renesmee, I have a plan” She replied
Everyone looked at her. “You do?” Emmett asked.
“Ha, that’s absolutely brilliant Alice!” my father exclaimed.
“Maybe I should share my idea with everyone else. See I was thinking, Demetri can’t get a read on Bella and if Bella covered all of us with her shield, he couldn’t track any of us. Bella, how long do anda think anda can keep your shield up for?”
“I don’t know. Maybe an jam but I have to be angry. It helps” My mother answered.
“Ok then. Emmett it will be your job to keep Bella angry” Aunt Alice ordered.
“Eye, eye captain!” he responded.
Alice shot a glare his way.
“When do anda think my mom should put her shield up?” I asked. If we had four days, I didn’t think she would be able to keep it up all the time for those four days.
“I will see when Demetri is order to start tracking. It will be the hari they come and then your mother will put up her shield. Hopefully, once he can’t track us, they’ll give up”
We all started to get hopeful as we planned. We could do this, I just knew it.
Chapter 5
The waiting was so awful it was almost physically painful. Once we had found a way to avoid the attack, we were all so excited we didn’t think about what would happen in the mean time.
Now it was just sitting around all hari waiting for aunt Alice to have a vision of our fate.
Of course Uncle Emmett wasn’t happy. He was very violent. My mother didn’t like that at all, but it was who he was. anda could see in his eyes the craving he had to fight the Volturi.
Everyone else was excited about the plan. Although nobody exactly berkata it to me, I knew that if we went up against the Volturi, we wouldn’t win. That much I had figured out on my own.
My parents had this hobby of never telling me how dangerous things were. My Jacob would tell me if I asked him but I could tell he was keeping the extent of it from we. It was like I was forbidden to panic atau worry.
Well, whether my parents liked it atau not, I was worrying. lebih than that, I was scared. What if the plan didn’t work and Demetri found us? What would we do?
There was no doubt in my mind that my family would fight. My mother had told me that herself.
“No matter what happens, Renesmee, I won’t let anyone hurt you. We won’t let anyone hurt you.” She had berkata referring to my family.
Jacob was very protective too. His serigala, wolf pack and him spent a lot of time at grandpa and grandma’s house. Jacob came to our cottage, too, sometimes. Although he was rarely aloud inside.
It had been two and a half weeks since aunt Alice had her vision. We were all at grandma and grandpa’s today. Yesterday we had gone hunting but today we weren’t really doing anything.
“Dad?” I asked turning towards him. We had all been seated in the couches around the TV but I was getting bored of it. Are there any board games around here? I asked him in my mind.
“I think we have a few.” he answered.
Uncle Emmett sighed in frustration.
Can we please play one?
“I don’t see why not” my dad replied while laughing at uncle Emmett’s expression.
I got up from in between aunt Rose and Jacob and walked over to my dad.
“Were are they?” I asked him out loud this time.
“Do anda mind sharing?” Uncle Emmett grumbled.
“I want to play a board game.” I told him. When I turned back to my dad his eyes were locked with Aunt Alice’s. It took a few saat before my brain made the connection.
You’ve been waiting for this! It should be a surprise. I told myself.
I wasn’t surprised. Not really. I had been expecting this. But I wasn’t ready. I wasn’t ready to leave. To be on the run. I’d miss Grandpa Charlie and Auntie Sue…Who knows how long it would be before I saw them again.
I watched as my dad’s eyes came back to reality.
Uncle Jasper, who had been sitting seterusnya to Aunt Alice and noticed her eyes go blank, now had his hands on her face and was whispering her name in a panic.
“Alice! Alice!” he berkata to her.
She, too, came back to reality and exchanged a glance with my mother.
I looked at Emmett and he was glanced at mom, dad, and aunt Alice continuously and so fast his head was almost a blur.
Normally hat would be something I would have laughed at, but not now. It wasn’t the time.
I was no Alice but I could have predicted the words that came out of her mouth next.
“They’re coming. We have to leave.”
