Edward stood up and came to my side. He had his eyes closed and he was fragile.

I hugged him and got his hand in mine. I could see that they were all sad and they couldn’t concentrate on anything. When Carlisle showed up, everyone was in the living room. I turned around while I was washing the dishes, and answered:

-Yes, of course. Oh! I think I forgot to bring the things that I bought. Edward will give them to me tomorrow.

He nodded and started staring at the TV once again. With a quick good night, I went upstairs and got ready for bed. When I went to my room, Edward wasn’t there. So, with disappointment, I leaned in katil thinking of what Carlisle had said, while I wasn’t around this afternoon. My head was full of soalan and I didn’t know if there was anyone who could answer me. I was almost asleep, when I heard him coming in from my window. The moon was complete and in the light of it, I could see Edward’s beautiful face. He was the most beautiful creature I had seen. And I knew, the world would never have something as beautiful as he was.

I berkata while his ice cold hand touched my forehead. He was too cold now, even for a vampire.

-I’m sorry.

I couldn’t sleep anymore. Now, with seeing his sad eyes, the soalan were killing me, and at that moment, I wished that he could read my mind so I could get answers.
