Renesmee, my cousin, was the jewel of the family. She was the only birth child, and the most beautiful at that. With her glorious auburn hair and chocolate-brown eyes, she was gorgeous. A baby face still, but still gorgeous. She had an amazing gift, and already had a lover, Jacob, who was amazing to her.

Me, on the other hand, was adopted sejak Rosalie and Emmett, and I never knew my parents. My mother was a human, but my father was a vampire. When I was born, my mother had died, and my father left me to die in the woods, where Carlisle found me. He then took me home, and Rosalie fell in Cinta with my turqoise eyes, and shiny blonde hair. She named me Elina Jenelle, and gave me the last name of Cullen, something her and Emmett decided on. Most of the time, they will call me Ellie, atau Lina.

I stopped growing at fourteen, but my body was already mature. I had C cups and a curvy figure. High school was hell, but I can pass off as a 17-year-old, so I'm not always just a Freshmen atau a Sophomore. This year, I am a Junior, and I go to school with Renesmee.

I have a gift, something that even Nessie couldnt top. It was briliant. I could not only read minds, I could make your thoughts my own, atau hypnotize, with the blacks of my pupils. When my eyes turned black, my hypnosis was in place. Edward and Bella were very jealous that I could do that, and Renesmee couldnt. I thought at least one thing about me was at least a little bit special, and the Volturi has been chasing after me since I was born. They want me to be Elina Volturi.

"NESSIE! ELINA! TIME TO EAT!" I heard Esme call from outside. I turned to Rosalie, and sighed.
"I'm not hungry," I berkata blankly, laid back down, and crossed my arms. Rosalie sighed and tousled my hair.
"Ellie, I know your upset that the Volturi are coming to see anda today, but anda cant icolate yourself from your family."
I scowled. "Too bad." I turned my head to Emmett, and frowned. "Daddy, do I havve to go with the Volturi?"
He laughed. "No, Elina. No one is forcing you."
"The Volturi are. What's so great about me anyway?" I asked, and frowned.
Rosalie smiled. "Well, your gorgeous," she pushed some strands of hair behind my ear. "And anda have an amazing gift. They would do anything to get anda part of them."
"ELINA! DID anda HEAR ME?! ITS LUNCHTIME!"
Emmett sighed. "Baby, go before Esme gets worried." He kissed the bahagian, atas of my head and I stood up.
"Kay, bye mom, bye dad."
I began walking to the house, and then it went into my fast, vampire run. That was a good thing about being a half-vampire, the speed. In less than five saat I was at the house. Nessie was already chowing down on her meal, which was a steak, covered in blood. My mouth watered, and Esme noticed. She put my plate righht in front of me, pork, my favorite,, baby corn, and a glass of Coca-Cola. I noticed that there was blood in a gravy-boat infront of my plate. I smiled, sat down, and covered my Makanan in blood. I noticed Esme breathe heavily, and I saw Nessie's face drop.
"You okay, Aunt Esme?" I asked. She smiled her gorgeous, toothy, white smile and said: "Yes, dear, but I think I'll go take a walk. I'm thirsty." And with that she walked outside, grabbing Carlisle, and they headed for the woods. Alice came over to watch us when she noticed Esme's absentense.
"Is she going to be okay?" Nessie asked. Alice smiled. "Yes, even Esme has her moments, though..." she trailed off. I sighed.
I was halfway done with my pork when there was a knock on the door. "Jasper! Get the door!" Alice called. I heard Jasper walk down the stairs an open the door.
"Aro?"
