According to Twilighters Italia & Lion Lamb:

New Moon will not be shot in Volterra but in Montepulciano
Despite advertisements, anticipations and every kind of proposal from the major and the township, New Moon will be shot in Montepulciano because the locations are "more beautiful for the movie" than Volterra."

And, they were nice enough to post pictures of possible locations in Montepulciano. Although the movie may not be filmed in Volterra, these locations look accurate to the descriptions in the book.

I dozed off for a while on the plane, and woke up with a jarr as the plane wheels hit the ground. I grabbed my bag and started to walk off the plane. It had been a five jam plane ride and all of the other passengers were stretching before leaving. They were uncomfortable, but I wasn't. Anyhow, I set my bag down and wasted a few minit to stretch before trying to leave again. I was always forgetting to act human.
I took a shuttle to Brenton which dropped me off right on the campus, giving me the full view.

I'm scared, even though I'm stronger than any other human atau animal, I had no choice of this life but sometimes i didn't mind it. The Sony Pictures website has a series of tinjauan-tinjauan going on what items should be saved if the world ended in 2012. It’s all part of a PR stunt for their new movie 2012 which, as anda may have guessed, is one of those end of the world as its premise type of flicks.
Anyway, Twilight already won as the bahagian, atas movie that people would preserve. It finished just ahead of Moonwalker and bintang Wars.
Now, the Twilight Saga and The Host are up for contention in the literature category, and need your votes. They are also collecting nominations for music, so hantar your kegemaran artist.
We’re wondering if some Sony executive is banging his/her head against the dinding because the nominees and winners aren’t a landslide of Sony backed productions
