It really bugs me when people change SM's wonderful creation.
I read a fanfic where Jasper bailed from Alice for years and was a total monster! He tried to kill Bella when she was young and then again in her room. Plus the storyline was all messed up, it was awful!!!

I don't mind the ones where the characters are changed. Where it's more of an original story except they have the same names, and Alice is bubbly, Rosalie beautiful, Emmett huge and funny, Edward with bronze hair, etc etc. But the only one I've written is in character I think. I'm not a personality expert though, so I'm not sure how much it really is.
