OH riiight well then it is kinda wierd but maybe the euro didn't existed at that time or Alice just thought that he could change the dollars for euros later on if he wanted.. o.O

that's very okay i think, it's the urgent situation, dollars is international curenccy, they haven't time to go to the money changer first and blah blah blah... and, in fact, a lot number of "that dollars" really helpful. lol
