I have never found a reason to dislike him. At least not like the passionate hate some people have, which I don't understand.

I strongly dislike him because he forced/tricked bella into kissing him, and even though he's a nice guy overall, he takes advantage of Bella when he knows perfectly well that she and Edward are together.

Edward901, Bella used Jacob, not the other way around. He didn't purposely make her feel horrible, he was going to fight to save her and didn't make her kiss him, she did it on her own accord, he didn't think that the story the elders were telling make Bella think of herself. When did she try to kill herself for him? She tried to kill herself for Edward, I can't think of when she did that for Jacob, maybe I need to read the books again. he's only human too and he didn't try to take advantage of her, she did that plenty of times to him so even if he does she deserve.

I love Jacob. I don't think he and Bella should be together though, only because I think Jacob deserves a heckuva lot more than settling as second-best for Bella.

I believe that if Edward hadn't come back then Jacob would have been good for Bella...but I dislike the way he went about trying to get Bella. I think that Bella nd Edward are meant to be and I hope that Jacob can find someone new to get over Bella.
