I am a big Batman peminat and there have been several live-action Batman films, so the time has come to rank them. I have ranked them before, but I'm not fully pleased with how my sebelumnya ranking turned out. For this ranking, I'll try to express my opinions as well as I can without throwing hatred out to the films that I'm not the biggest peminat of.
I won't include films that bintang Batman's villains, like Catwoman and Joker, because I don't consider those films to be Batman films.
The movie serials won't be counted, because despite movie serials having the word "movie" in them, I think they're lebih like a series of episodes.
Team-up films, including Batman vs. Superman and Justice League, will also not be included.
Honorable mention: Alyas Batman en Robin. Instead of being an official Batman film, this film is a parody. However, that doesn't stop it from being one of the most entertaining superhero films of all time. The goofy take on Batman is hilarious and full of memorable jokes. The songs are both catchy and funny. Rene Requiestas steals the tunjuk as one of the most sympathetic and funny versions of the Joker that there's ever been.
My ranking from least kegemaran to favorite:
The Batman
This film is easily my least kegemaran of the Batman films. However, in the past, I believe that I let my anger get the better of me. I used to say that I hated this film, but I'm trying not to hate films. I do dislike the film, which might sound similar to hating, but I believe it's a better feeling to have. This film's dark, realistic take on Batman pleased a lot of people, including a lot of Batman fans, so I'm glad that they had a good time with the film. For me, the film was bland, gloomy and unenjoyable.
Also, Robert Pattinson never felt like Batman to me. As a person, I have nothing against him. I wish the best for him and all of his fans. I'm just not a peminat of his take on Batman. In this film, Batman lacked the inspiring morals and unique charm that made me Cinta the character in other versions. I'm also strongly against this version of the Riddler. Riddler used to be one of the funniest and most entertaining villains in the history of television, so seeing him be turned into a creepy murderer bothered me.
The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight is often considered to be the best Batman film and one of the greatest superhero films. In fact, it's often considered to be one of the greatest films in the history of cinema. Sadly, I don't feel the same way. All of the praise that Heath Ledger received was earned. Seeing so many people continue to pay tribute to such a talented actor is a touching thing to see, so I can understand why this film meant a lot to so many people. While I like Heath Ledger's performance, I'm not a big peminat of how Joker's written. He's written to be lebih scary than funny and lebih cynical than playful. The fun-loving wackiness of the classic Joker is missing in this film.
Also, Two-Face is underused. While Harvey Dent gets plenty of screentime, the Two-Face persona barely gets anything to do until the end. Another problem I have with the film is the Cinta segitiga, segi tiga between Bruce, Rachel and Harvey. In the film, Bruce wants to stop being Batman and leave the responsibilities of protecting the city to Harvey. Also, he wants Rachel to dump Harvey and start dating him. It's pretty sad that Harvey is lebih sympathetic than Bruce for a majority of the film.
The Dark Knight Rises
This film benefits from Tom Hardy's memorable portrayal of Bane. His unique voice adds a lot to every scene he's in. Also, as a peminat of obscure Batman rogues, it was fun to see a live-action version of Daggett from Batman: The Animated Series.
What hurts this film is Bruce giving up being Batman for eight years. During that time, it's implied that he barely did anything. He didn't check on his company atau any of his charities. It makes Bruce look less likable and proactive than he's supposed to be. Also, the motivation of one of the film's villains make no sense. Without giving too much away, one of the villains is willing to put everyone in Gotham City in danger to honor the legacy of a person that the villain didn't even like. That makes very little sense.
Batman Begins
This film was the beginning of Batman films being lebih serious and realistic. Seeing Bruce be trained sejak Ra's al Ghul is an interesting thing to witness. Liam Neeson makes a strong impression as Bruce's mentor. Bruce has a good arc in this film, because he learns and grows into a heroic person. This film has a good message about how to overcome fear. With that said, this film is lacking a lot of the memorable entertainment from the sebelumnya Batman films.
Batman and Robin
This film is often considered to be the worst Batman film. While this film has problems, it's a lot of fun. The colorful visuals and playful tone make this film a very enjoyable experience. Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze and Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy are both scene-stealing treats. Also, while George Clooney wasn't the best choice for Batman, this film's version of Batman feels lebih like a good person than a lot of other versions of the character.
Batman Forever
Like Batman and Robin, Batman Forever is a lot of fun to watch. Val Kilmer works as a handsome, subtle Bruce. I believe that his version of Batman is underrated. Also, having Bruce inspire Dick Grayson to seek justice rather than revenge is a touching thing to see. Tommy Lee Jones's Two-Face and Jim Carrey's Riddler provide a lot of fun humor to the film.
Batman
Tim burton got to prove what a wonderful director he is with his beautifully Gothic and stylish version of Batman. This film is packed with tons of memorable, entertaining moments. Out of the serious versions of Batman, Michael Keaton's version is my favorite. He has such a strong, cool presence. Also, despite how dark his Batman is, he has several funny moments as Bruce. Jack Nicholson's Joker is a scene-stealing treat that is full of wicked charm. Michael Gough is a lovable gentleman as Alfred, and he continued to be great as Alfred in the three films that followed this one.
Batman Returns
Batman Returns gave Tim burton a chance to tunjuk off his brilliantly wild ideas. With a fascinating reinvention of the Penguin, an appealing new baddie played sejak Christopher Walken, and the best Catwoman there's ever been, Batman Returns is full of interesting characters. This film has been mocked for focusing lebih on the villains than on Batman, but Michael Keaton shines in every scene he's in. This film has a visual style that's both beautiful and creative. Despite all the advancements in technology, no superhero film has managed to bahagian, atas this film's stylish visuals. That goes to tunjuk what a brilliant visionary Tim burton and his crew are.
Batman: The Movie
The classic 1966 Batman movie is an absolute delight. Adam West is my kegemaran Batman. He provides his character with endless hati, tengah-tengah and entertainment. Adam West proved that anda don't have to be crass to be funny. He also proved that Batman can be a good, inspirational person rather than an edgy anti-hero. Cesar Romero's Joker, Burgess Meredith's penguin and Frank Gorshin's Riddler are the most entertaining supervillains in both TV form and in this movie. I believe that this film has the best cast of any Batman film. In fact, it might have the best cast of any superhero film. Batman: The Movie remains a great reminder that not all superhero adventures have to be dark and gritty. Dark stories can work very well, but Batman films that are fun and uplifting would be greatly appreciated.
