I've pitted Batman villains against each other, and I've done the same for Batman's allies. Now the time has come to find out which characters have been in the most episodes of Batman shows. Like with my sebelumnya articles, only Batman shows count, so appearances from shows like Super Friends and Justice League won't be included in the results. Some people might count non-speaking cameos, so others might get different results than I did.
11. Joker (101 episodes)
Joker is Batman's most iconic villain, so it might be surprising that he didn't make the bahagian, atas 10. Joker did appear lebih than the other villains in the cartoons, but Penguin, Catwoman and Riddler appeared far lebih often than he did in Gotham. That led to Joker going down in the list.
10. Riddler (113 episodes)
Riddler became one of Batman's most popular villains, because of his role in the original 1966 show. In most shows, he tended to appear less often than Joker, penguin and Catwoman, but his major role in Gotham managed to help him beat the Joker.
9. Batgirl (117 episodes)
Batgirl wasn't introduced until the final season of the original show, but she did appear in every episode of that season. She has gone on to appear in several different shows, but she's usually not used as often as Alfred, Commissioner Gordon and Robin.
8. Catwoman (122 episodes)
In a lot of Batman's shows, Catwoman tends to be the 3rd most frequently used villain, only behind Joker and Penguin. Due to Catwoman being a regular character in Gotham, Catwoman managed to beat Joker and become Batman's 2nd most used villain.
7. Chief O'Hara (125 episodes)
Out of all the results, Chief O'Hara being in 8th place was one of the most surprising. Chief O'Hara was a character that was created for the original Batman series. He hasn't been in a Batman tunjuk in over fifty years, but his prominent role in the original tunjuk managed to keep him one of the most prominent supporting characters in the franchise.
6. Detective Bullock (126 episodes)
Detective Bullock was a character that was created for the comics in the 1970s, but he didn't appear in a TV tunjuk until 1992's Batman: The Animated Series. Bullock was a recurring character in that tunjuk and The New Batman Adventures. He was one of the lead Heroes in Gotham, which is what helped him get such a high spot on the list.
5. penguin (155 episodes)
penguin has been one of Batman's main enemies for over seventy years. He often competed with Joker as the villain that appeared the most often in the early Batman shows. What helped penguin win was his role in Gotham. In Gotham, he was the main villain and was one of the show's lead characters.
4. Robin (221 episodes)
Robin was Batman's sidekick who appeared in every episode of the original series and the Filmation cartoons. The lebih serious Batman shows used Robin lebih sparingly. In fact, some shows didn't use Robin in any episodes. Despite that, Robin made it into the bahagian, atas 4.
3. Commissioner Gordon (338 episodes)
Depending on the show, Commissioner Gordon is either the highly competent police commissioner that Batman greatly admires atau a lazy, gullible man that needs Batman to do everything for him. Either way, Gordon is a prominent character in just about every version of Batman. He even got to be the protagonist of Gotham.
2. Alfred Pennyworth (342 episodes)
It was a tight race, but Alfred just barely managed to bahagian, atas Gordon as the character with the 2nd highest number of appearances. While Batman has several allies that he can rely on, nobody has been there for Batman lebih than Alfred. Due to Bruce losing his parents at a young age, Alfred went out of his way to be the parental figure that Bruce needed. As time went on and Bruce became a darker person, Alfred was the one person that never left Bruce's side. Because of that, it's fitting that Alfred got 2nd place on the list.
1. Batman (557 episodes)
As to be expected, Batman has been in lebih episodes of his shows than anybody else. With the exception of Batman Beyond and Gotham, Bruce Wayne's Batman is in every episode of all of the Batman shows.
11. Joker (101 episodes)
