December 14, 1941. I, Chanhassen Dobbins, am a young thirteen year-old girl that is living in New York City. "Chanhassen Marie Dobbins!" My mother calls me. In my gray nightgown, I make my warm katil neatly. "Sometimes, I wish I was younger." I mumble to myself. As I change into my regular attire, I open the chipped wooden door from my bedroom and follow my mother's voice. Walking down the dark brown staircase, I see my mother sitting at the dapur meja, jadual drinking milk. "Ahhhh...! Chanhassen! Lydia wanted anda to meet her in her father's cafe." She takes a sipof the mug with her chapped tan lips. "Alright. Thank anda mother." I Ciuman my mother on her forehead and flee the apartment. Some would say I live in the projects, but I live on Misery Lane. Where there are no projects nearby. The cold wind of December flies north. Oh how cold it is! Cold as Antarctica but it is only New York City. Across the busy jalan of our brick apartment, I see my friend Lydia's father's cafe. I grip onto my maroon kot and look side to side for passing vehicles. Walking along the yellow lines across the street, I see a man with a dark gray suit and a matching hat. He looks very suspicious. "Come! Come! Come! To Papaaaaa Palini's!" A bald man with blue eyes calls out with a fancy coat. "Mr.Levine?" I ask to the familiar face. "Chanhassen Dobbins!" Mr.Levine hugs me until I am cannot touch the ground. "Oh it's so good to see anda so much! It's an honor to be with you! Where is your mother?" I twidle with my thumbs. "She is at the apartment. Doing swell. I promise." I explain to Mr.Levine. Mr.Levine has been my mother's most trusted friend. And to my father as well. "Well, come on in to Papa Palini's!" Just one tiny soalan comes to mind. "Why are anda advertising [for i]Papa Palini's[/i]?" I soalan him. "Marcio Palini gave me a job for me to mengiklankan for his cafe for good pay." he informs me.
As I enter the two story cafe, I take my gloves off since it's warmer inside. I see a butterscotch-haired girl in a black and white dress. "Chanhassen?" "Lydia!" I call. Lydia and I hug each other. How I have missed Lydia's cinnamon teh aroma. She has been a waitress for a couple of months now for her father. Lydia is indeed a Palini. Born in North Dakota, blood of the Italians! "Oh, Chanhassen! It has been such a while since I have seen you! What are anda doing here?" I smile at my childhood friend. "My mother sent me here. She berkata anda needed me." Lydia's blue eyes widen. "OH! That is right! My papa needs another waitress in the cafe. I have offered him to let anda come and work here. Would anda consider it?" she explains. We take a kerusi, tempat duduk at the nearest meja, jadual and I shake my head. "No thank you. I was thinking about getting a job at the Kandi store." "THE Kandi STORE?!" Lydia exclaims making her Italian accent tunjuk lebih than ever. "You are too good for that Kandi store! Chanhassen, anda must work here. It'll pay off everything your mother has borrowed." It's true. My mother has borrowed some money lately ever since my father died in World War II. Which is still going on now. "I don't care about that now! I must work at the Kandi shop! They pay highly there!" "So do we!" Lydia says. "You may go, but, I want to see anda lebih often. Work got us seperated!" "I know." I check the clock inside the coffee brown cafe. "My apologizes. I need to leave. My mother needs me at nine o'clock." I put my gloves back on and flee the cafe.

Hey, so this is a poem Ive been thinking of for a long time, please read and comment!
The Spirit
The spirit rushes on,
Swifter than the wind,
To find answers,
To seek the way.
The spirit flows on,
Like the river.
Flowing on to find the ocean,
A utama for all its dreams.
The spirit shines on,
Brighter than a thousand suns.
Shining on to clear the darkness,
To find the path.
The spirit lives on,
lebih eternal than the sea,
Living on to find its home,
Where all the ends shall meet.

Forever
Forever anda are mine
Forever I’ll be here
Forever is what anda promised
Your hati, tengah-tengah is worth nothing
But the your soul is priceless
Forever can be a long time
Forever can be a long time cut short
It’s worth the suffering
It’s worth the sacrifice
To forever be yours
Forever protected sejak your eagle like wings
Forever loved sejak your ocean wide heart
Forever selamat, peti deposit keselamatan in your warm embrace
Forever is worth the wait
To be sliced thin
To stuffed thick
Forever is Forever
Forever is Eternity
Forever is a risk
Forever is a chance
Forever is worth the wait
Forever anda are mine
Forever I’ll be here

preface
if the one person anda told the truth to all the time was now the one person anda have to keep it away from, would you?
would anda be able to lie through your teeth and pray that he believes you? what if he was the one person anda told everything to, he was the one who keeps anda from falling apart, but if anda told him anything he might be the one to bring anda tummbling down.
if anda had to chose between lieing to him, hurting him, and keeping him away from you, what would anda chose? because if anda dont chose right, he may very well die.

I am bored with love
and it's passionless limbs
that drape over my bed
in a lethargic state of impotence
while wearing the same red heart
my soul picked up hitchhiking
off highway serendipity
Now here we are
alone in togetherness
trying to build dreams
with two sejak fours and glue,
but even a home
won't tie us together
when our hearts live alone
Poetic vows cliched
into nothingness
like all words do, eventually
and we allowed our bodies to become another pair of hollow shadows that make Cinta to a wall
instead of each other
and we wonder why
the Ros are dying

A tahun lalu in my calculation,
A tahun ago, there were situations.
The same song played now and then,
In my memory, it had begun.
Tears from my eyes were shed this morning,
It was the most tears I was shedding.
My world isn’t complete without you,
My world and I don’t know what to do.
Cinta isn’t a toy and never was.
Cinta is what anda cherish and keep as treasure.
My mind is at many topics at random,
It goes normal when you’re in my kingdom.
What ends my bad situations with people
Is my focus on you, my angel.
You’ll always be a part of me,
You’ll always be in my memory.
