When he awoke for the saat time, he thought of a million things, coherency streaming his mind and starting the engines of his very unique brain. Out of the millions and millions of streaming thoughts, he pulled out three and processed them:
Where the heck was he?
Why was there loud knocking at “his” door so early?
Where had his snuggle buddy from last night wandered off to?
This third soalan brought up a million others that he was less than happy to deal with at the minute. He rubbed his eyes and yawned, stretching his arms out as he called entrance; anything to get the noise causing his headache to stop. A girl, obvious older, entered. Her light blue curls were pulled away from her face, her pointed, elf-like ears sowing. She wore a simple jubah of white, a golden tali pinggang on her hips. Her eyes were a light gray, like the sun lighting up early morning fog. He watched cautiously as she approached and then practically fainted when she knelt down before him in a respectful bow.
“My lord.”
Her voice was light and airy, like silver bells on snowy winds at Christmas. Her tone held the respect and devotion of a loyal servant. And it freaked him out. Dylan had adjusted to being the oddball in his life, and this girl was treating him like royalty. He realized she was staring.
“What do anda want from me? I have nothing you'd find valuable I swear!!!!”
She blinked and watched him climb up the bookshelf, her face Frozen in surprise.
“My lord, please calm down.”
“Calm down my ass!! How about we play a game? anda go hide and I'll pretend to look for you.”
“That game would require lebih people, would it not?”
“.....smart ass.”
She merely blinked at him again.
“My lord, I was ordered to come and wake you.”
“Nya! None of that “my lord” stuff! I've seen the shows! I never made a pact with any demons! Wait did I...? NO!! I haven't!!! Now.....shoo!”
She looked at him quizzically.
“Demons call anda lord?”
“...no. Not me personally...”
“You are very animated, my lord.”
He stuck out his tongue and looked around. If he went on the ground, he was sure he'd be beaten sejak the girl, despite his training over the years. And he couldn't escape using the shadows; who knows what he'd find. The only option was to wait them out. If I stay here long enough, maybe they'll leave me alone.... Instead, someone else walked into the room, someone he recognized...Snuggle buddy?! The dark haired man looked at the situation and smirked. His death-like eyes winked with emotion and he walked further into the room. He blew out a few candles and walked calmly to the bookshelf. The room seemed to buzz for a minit and then it felt like his head cleared.
“Young master, how did anda sleep?”
Dylan watched the other man reach up and take him in his arms. He wanted to pull back, but the scent of familiarity and the warmth around this person made him stay. His eyes drooped a bit.
“Fine. Hey, why were anda in my room last night?”
“Just watching over you. anda were having nightmares again.”
“Was I...?”
The man nodded and set him on the bed.
“You look wiped. Would anda like to sleep some more, master?”
He nodded and snuggled deep into the covers pulled over him.
“But my lord-”
“Ariella, he can talk to them later. Go.”
With a simple nod she left. The other stayed.
“Will anda keep the nightmares away again, Sin?” Dylan murmured, too tired to care how he knew the name atau why he trusted this person.
“As anda wish, master.”
