While Red Arrow Rae were over there making conversation with the group of teens, Ryder, Corey, and I were talking quietly. “Any idea what’s going on over there?” Ryder cautiously asked. “Maybe they’re having a pizza party?” Corey suggested. I nudged him. “Com’on lets go see what’s going on.” I ordered them. “Yes, fearless leader!” Corey berkata while making it look like he was a soldier saluting. I just shook my head pitifully.
With Ryder and Corey right behind me, I started walking over to them, “Arrow? Are anda going to introduce me to your friends?” I asked cautiously. “Hey, my name’s Sydney. But anda can call me Syd.” I said, sticking a hand out. A dark-skinned teen with blonde hair shook it, “My name is Aqualad. It seems some of your team members have a history with us.” I smiled. “And I would be very interested to hear it.” I glared at Rae playfully, and she looked away. The one who had shouted at Roy before magically popped up seterusnya to me, placing his elbow on my shoulder. “My name is Kid Flash. So, is Red actually on your team? Cuz… he berkata that he wanted to go solo…” I pushed his elbow off and looked over at Roy, “No, he’s not official… but he’s just with us for a bit to finish up some business.” He nodded faintly.
“Rae?” Ryder asked from behind me. “That’s Robin, Miss Martian, Superboy, and my best friend, Artemis.” She motioned to the remaining teens. “Howdy!” Corey waved his hand like a madman. Rae continued, “I know this because, Artemis is my best friend and a superhero. I followed her, being the snoop I am, and found out 2 weeks ago. There was this whole issue with these bad guys and an unexpected family reunion and the Joker, and that’s why I haven’t been able to use my powers.” She blurted it out so fast it was hard to make out what she berkata exactly. “Ok?” I berkata slowly. “My name is Sydney, but please call me Syd. That’s Ryder and Corey.” Ryder just nodded, and Corey waved again. “So, are anda guys superheroes atau something?” Ryder asked quietly. “Well, if anda mean we work for the Justice League and some of us have powers, then yes.” Robin replied. Corey had his mouth wide open, “That’s just like us! Rae can do weird mind-thingermabobers; Ryder has some sort of magic-strength-power, and I-“ Ryder cut him off sejak saying, “Can annoy people to death?” The both off them got into another wrestle. “Actually, Corey can phase through solid objects.” I said, and then followed up with, “And Ryder absorbs energy through contact with the ground, and it gives him somewhat super-strength.” Artemis crossed her arms, “So, you’re the only one without powers, and you’re the leader?” I nodded, “I’m just a sharpshooter.” I berkata proudly. “You kill people!?” Kid Flash said, now alerted. “I don’t kill people! I use darts!” I quickly added. “Impressive!” Robin added. “How old are you, again?” Aqualad asked. I smiled, “Seventeen. Ryder is too. Corey is 16, and Rae is 15.” There was a long and awkward pause, and then Rae berkata cheerfully, “Well, if it’s ok with Syd… Maybe anda guys might want to come over to our base, just to chill out for a bit? Get to know each other? Share the love?” I laughed, “Fine. Only if it’s ok with them.” I looked at the other team. They looked at each other, and then Aqualad nodded. “You two done over there?” I looked over at Ryder and Corey, who stopped mid-wrestle. Corey was slung over Ryder shoulders, and then Ryder dropped Corey and started to act like nothing happened. I scoffed, and continued to walk toward the back door.
After Roy and I had arrived at base first I got off my bike, “Any idea what that guy at the bank meant when he berkata that they were supposed to wait for us?” Roy looked at me, “Frankly, I’m not sure it was us they were waiting for.”
The others started to arrive one sejak one, but the other teens all arrived in some kind of plane. “Fancy-Shamancy!” Corey said. I looked at Ryder, “Hey, Ry? I didn’t want to spoil the surprise, but… Alana’s here.” His face lit up. “Are anda serious!? Where?” “Where else dummy?” Rae pointed toward the door and Ryder ran in. Alana was Ryder’s girlfriend and an on-off member of our team. From what I last heard she was just in Brazil trying to track down “The Seekers”. They are supposedly some group of villains who try to suck the powers out of Heroes atau something corny like that. The team got out of the plane-ish thing, “So, anda guys hand out in an alleyway?” Superboy asked. “There’s a door here.” I stated. “The whole 3 floors?” Artemis questioned. “The building was abandoned after a fire. We fixed it up, and now it’s ours.” Arrow replied. “Cool.” Miss Martian added. “Shall we enter?” Corey bowed. He turned around to face the dinding and walked straight into it, going through into the lounge. I laughed and opened the door so that everyone could enter, but no one did. They just all stood there in disbelief. “You might want to see this.” Roy berkata slowly. I turned my head so that I could see inside, and there stood Alana, smiling. Ryder and Corey were both on the ground, unconscious.

I put my tiara in my still perfect hair. I slipped on my silver shoes and bangle.
The one I was trying on was a green nightmare: a super short green skirt, super high green boots, and a revealing green top.
