Chapter Six-
"This is bloody amazing!"
A group of boys were crowded around a newspaper in the cafeteria. The boy who had spoken was Membaca the headline story out loud and was obviously from England.
Sam was too busy thinking about what had happened to Holly. If he wasn't in the middle of trying to stop Reaper from killing the head of every corporation in New York, he would've already gone to the Cave to see what was up.
How long could it possibly take to go through a training mission? Three days?
"Sam? Are anda even listening?" a guy asked.
Sam looked up from his notebook at the group of guys looking at him.
"I'm afraid to ask." he said.
"Have anda seen this string of murders, mate?" the first boy asked.
"More than I want." Sam muttered.
"They berkata on each instance-"
"They?" Sam asked.
"Police." the saat boy said.
"Go on Alex!" a third boy said, gesturing to the newspaper.
"Well anyway, the police berkata in each instance, Revenge failed to stop the murders. Looks like he's not doing such a good job."
Everyone groaned, knowing what was coming next.
"And that is the problem with these vigilantes." Sam started.
"Heroes." the British boy corrected.
Before Sam could counter that statement, Sarah came up and tapped his shoulder.
"I've got a lead." she whispered in his ear.
Sam grabbed his buku and stood up.
"I've gotta go." he said.
"Holly ain't gonna be too happy when she gets back!" another boy berkata as Sam started to walk off.
Sam turned around and glared at him. The kid shrunk into the background as Sam walked off.

"What've anda got?" Sam asked as soon as the garaj door closed at the base.
Sarah removed her topi keledar and walked up the stairs.
"I've triangulated the possible companies that all of the businessmen and women had contact with the past six months. I've narrowed it down to four companies. New Russia Industries, LexCorp, Germanic Clocks, and your absolute favorite- Wayne Industries." Sarah said.
Sam frowned.
"Not sure about the Germans, but I'm going after Wayne Industries. The last time something like this happened-"
"Bruce Wayne had a lot lebih to do with it than he knew." Sarah finished.
Sam pressed a button on the elevator and walked in.
"Tell my mom I'll be late for dinner." he berkata as the elevator doors closed.
"Wayne Industries, how may we help you?"
"I need to speak with Mr. Wayne." Sam berkata into the phone.
"Do anda have an appointment with Mr. Wayne?"
"No, but I have some information and I'll only talk to him."
A few saat of tense silence followed as Sam buckled his utility belt.
"Please hold." she said.
Sam sighed and put his cape on.
"Mr. Wayne?"
"Yes, Martha?" the billionaire replied.
"Someone says they have some information and will only speak to you."
"Give a name?"
"No sir."
Bruce sighed, straightening his tie. "Patch me through to my personal line, I'll take it in my office."
The billionaire walked into his office, closing the door. He sat down behind his meja and reached into a drawer. He plugged a device into his phone, securing the line, and picked up the phone.
"Bruce Wayne here." he said.
"Bats," Sam said.
"Ah, good thing I secured the line. How can I help Sam?"
"I need some information. A bunch of businessmen have been murdered sejak Reaper. The last time he killed a businessman it had a lot to do with you."
"What do anda need?"
"Information on all your transactions in the past six months."
"I can't possibly-"
"Don't give me that! anda still owe me for tracking Luthor down, I'm calling it in!"
Silence followed.
"I won't tell my mom anything. How would I explain I got them?" Sam said.
"Very well," Bruce said, typing something on the computer and hitting the send button. "I sent them to Watchdog."
Sarah gave Sam a thumbs up.
"Got 'em. Thanks, Bats."
"Sure." Bruce said, hanging up.
Sam walked over to Sarah and leaned down to look at the computer screen.
"Not much here." Sarah said, scrolling through the list. "Plastics companies, some sort of permit, etcetra, etcetra."
She looked up to see Sam digging through a box.
"What the heck are anda doing?" she asked.
Sam turned around, grinning. He tossed something at her. She caught it. She turned it over to see what it was.
A mask.
"Oh, anda have got to be joking." she said.
"Suit up," Sam said, slipping his mask on. "We're rolling out."

holly taped the bandage to her ankle and stood up, testing it. The bandage would do, but she wasn't going to be much of a fighter with a sprained ankle.
holly had toyed with the idea of calling the League, atau the Team. Maybe even Sam. But she had been telah diberi strict orders sejak Batman to maintain radio silence.
So holly was stuck with a mission to kill Lex Luthor, rescue Artemis, and defeat all the bad guys with half her ammo gone and a sprained ankle.
And no jacket. How was she supposed to fight without her uniform being complete?
holly pulled the sleeveless bahagian, atas out of her suitcase and looked at it. She groaned and fell back on the bed, whacking her ankle. She gasped in pain. She lay on the bed, making a plan and fell asleep right in the middle of it.
